Chapter 8: Search and Rescue

After the initial objective, head to the shop to stock up, especially on ammo for the Cutter.

Enter the Atrium for a large combat encounter with Exploders, Leapers, and Bombers. Collect dropped items and use the unlocked boxes.

Save your game and take the elevator to level 3.

In the next room, collect items and a box. The hall contains more boxes and a save point.

At the end of the hall, defeat two Guardians by cutting off their tentacles before they spawn too many smaller enemies.

Save and enter the opened door into the Comms Hall.

Defeat the Divider by cutting off its parts, then use the Force Gun to pick off the smaller pieces. Collect items from wall boxes.

Proceed through the door to the Comms Lift.

Use the bench if needed and save at the save point. Go up to find an audio log.

Open the door, collect the Power Node to the left, and take the lift down the corridor.

In Lift 2, find a schematic, item, recharge station, and save point.

At the Comms Array Airlock, open lockers for a conductor and items. Collect a Power Node from the wall and proceed through the doors.

Objective: Fix the Array. In the Comms Array Chamber, you can pre-emptively attack a Leaper on the wall.

Inside, three Super Leapers will attack. Defeat them. Collect items from boxes near the door.

Interact with the computer screen to identify broken dishes. Collect three green dishes from around the room and replace the broken ones around the center console. Shoot broken dishes towards the ceiling to remove them, then place the working dishes into their slots. No enemies attack during this sequence.

Objective: Contact Military Ship. Head back to the save point, save, and use the computer. It will not work.

Return the way you came, taking the long lift back.

Objective: Use ADS Cannon. A Super Leaper is on the lift; stasis and defeat it.

Use the bench to spend Power Nodes and save your game.

Take the door on the right to the elevator.

ADS Cannon 48 (The Slug). This boss waits until you shoot it to attack. Collect items from four boxes.

Proceed through the door to find a Power Node on the right and a save point on the left.

Get on the ADS Cannon. Target the yellow weak spots on the Slug's five arms. Fire at the arms when they are about to throw debris at you to both deflect the attack and deal damage. Keep firing in bursts, sweeping your aim across the line of yellow spots. Use both cannons when possible for concentrated fire.

Objective: Return to Tram. After the scene, save and go back down the lift.

You can spend Power Nodes or head back. You will encounter two Divider parts; use Force Blasts.

Save your game. Return to the Atrium.

As you exit, there will be one Divider to the right. Be ready to fight it.

Visit the store to deposit your schematic for a reward.

Fight the Pregnant that appears behind you as you return to the tram.
