The Crystalline Caverns are often one of the first biomes you'll encounter, characterized by its shimmering crystals and relatively straightforward enemy types. This biome serves as an excellent training ground for new players to learn the ropes of kiting, resource management, and upgrade selection. The primary objective here often involves mining specific crystal formations or defeating a standard set of Glyphid enemies.

To successfully complete a Crystalline Caverns Hazard 5 dive (and earn the 'Crystalline Caverns' achievement), focus on a balanced build that offers both single-target damage for larger enemies and area-of-effect (AoE) for clearing swarms. The terrain is generally open, allowing for good maneuverability. Watch out for Glyphid Grunts and Swarmers, which are common here. Consider weapons with good range or crowd control to manage the open spaces effectively. Prioritize movement speed upgrades to easily navigate the crystalline structures and dodge incoming attacks.
