Hey there! Ready to dive into the demonic world of Diablo III? This guide is going to walk you through the Normal difficulty, focusing on where to go and what to do. While it won't cover every single tough enemy on higher difficulties (you'll want to check those specific guides later!), it'll definitely help you get through the story and offer up some handy tips and tactics along the way. I've tried to keep spoilers to a minimum, so you can still enjoy the unfolding story. Just a heads-up, Diablo III has a lot of random elements, so while the map layouts are generally fixed, you might find different enemies, chests, or mini-dungeons than what's described here. We're kicking things off with Act I on Normal Difficulty. This is a pretty chill part of the game, perfect for enjoying the story and getting a feel for the combat. You'll start just outside the town of New Tristram, where your hero's journey begins to unravel the mystery of a Fallen Star that's crashed nearby.

Walkthrough: The Fallen Star

1. Objective [A]: Kill the risen dead attacking the gates.

   You'll start just outside New Tristram. To move your character, just left-click. Left-clicking also attacks when your cursor is over an enemy. Your right-click is for your bound ability. Use your left-click attack to take down the undead in front of you. Head towards the quest marker on your minimap until you reach the town gates. Talk to Captain Rumford there and help him fend off the attacking undead. They should be pretty easy to beat at this stage. Remember to start picking up health globes when they drop!

2. Objective [B]: Talk to Leah in the Slaughtered Calf Inn.

   After the undead are cleared, Captain Rumford will ask you to speak with Leah. The town gates will then open up, so head inside New Tristram towards the center of town. Look for the "Slaughtered Calf" inn and go in. The atmosphere in New Tristram is pretty dark and moody, just how Diablo games should feel. You'll find Leah in the middle of the inn. She'll start telling you about her worries concerning the undead invasion.

3. Objective [C]: Kill the Risen.

   After speaking with Leah, you'll likely need to deal with more of the risen dead. Just keep using your basic attacks and abilities to clear them out as you move through the area.

4. Objective [D]: Talk to Leah in the Slaughtered Calf Inn.

   Once you've dealt with the immediate threat, you'll probably need to report back to Leah in the inn to get further instructions.

5. Objective [E]: Talk to Captain Rumford at the gate of New Tristram.

   Captain Rumford will likely have more to say or need your help with something else at the town gates.

6. Objective [F]: Kill the Wretched Mother.

   This sounds like your first mini-boss or a tougher enemy encounter. You'll need to defeat the Wretched Mother.

7. Objective [G]: Kill the Wretched Queen in the Old Ruins.

   Following the Wretched Mother, you'll face the Wretched Queen in the Old Ruins. This will likely be a more significant fight.

8. Objective [H]: Use the Old Ruins Waypoint.

   Once you've dealt with the Wretched Queen, make sure to activate the Waypoint in the Old Ruins. This will allow you to fast travel back to this location later.

9. Objective [I]: Talk to Captain Rumford in New Tristram.

   Finally, you'll need to return to Captain Rumford in New Tristram to report your progress.
