Discover the locations of all Sokolov Paintings across Dishonored's missions. Our guide details where to find these collectibles in High Overseer Campbell, House of Pleasure, and more.

Alright, let's track down these Sokolov Paintings scattered throughout Dunwall! They're a neat collectible that adds a bit of flavor to the world. We'll go mission by mission, so you know exactly where to look.

High Overseer Campbell

There's just one painting in this mission. Head to the Office of the High Overseer area. You're looking for a door that leads down to the basement. Once you're in the basement, keep an eye out for a wall that looks a bit discolored. Right next to that wall, there's a button. Hit it, and it'll open up a secret door leading to a hidden room where the painting is chilling.

House of Pleasure

This mission has three paintings, and they're all tucked away in the Art Dealer’s Apartment. The door to the second floor is unlocked, but for the third floor, you'll need a key. You can snag this key from a woman you'll find in an alley that leads to the third area of the Distillery District. You can either help her out or, well, let her meet her end – either way, you can get the key from her.

  1. The first painting is behind a safe on the third floor. To get the combination, you'll need to complete the second side mission for Slackjaw, which involves the Art Dealer. Just a heads-up, the combination changes every time you play, so it's random.
  2. Once you're on the third floor, take a look to your left. You'll see a door that opens into a room containing a painting.
  3. On the second floor of the apartment, you'll find two guys admiring a painting. Just wait for them to wander off, or if you prefer, take them out quickly. Then, you can grab the painting.

The Royal Physician

The painting for this mission is located right in the center of the bottom floor of Sokolov’s house. Be warned, this floor is usually crawling with enemies, so if you're going for a Ghost or no-kill run, you'll need to be extra stealthy.

Lady Boyle's Last Party

Both paintings for this mission are upstairs in the Boyle Estate. Once you're inside the mansion, look for a side doorway with stairs going up and down. A guard usually blocks the way upstairs, so wait for him to move before you try to slip past.

  1. One painting is randomly located in one of the three Boyle sisters' bedrooms. These rooms are easy to spot because of their fancy doors. In two of the rooms, the painting will be above the fireplace. If you happen to be in Waverly’s room, it'll be just inside the door to your right.
  2. Between all the bedrooms, there's a large room filled with glass cases. The second painting is right in the middle of this room.

Return to the Tower

This painting is inside the tower, in a room next to the Lord Regent’s bedroom. When you first get into the tower's foyer, there's a balcony that overlooks the room we're interested in. Blink up to that balcony, and you'll see a fireplace. This fireplace is actually a secret passage into the room with the painting, so crawl through it. The painting itself is hanging above the fireplace in that room.

The Flooded District

There are three paintings in this mission, and the last one is actually missable! You can only access it if you've completed all the side missions for both Granny Rags and Slackjaw.

  1. After you climb up the chain near the bridge at the start, face towards the marker for Daud’s base. Look to your left, and you should spot a balcony. Get onto the rooftop, then onto the higher one, and drop down onto that balcony. The Sokolov Painting is inside.
  2. This painting is located inside Daud’s base. After you grab his key, you'll need to unlock a door that leads to a long chain going all the way down. Instead of descending fully, jump off the level above where the chain starts. You'll find the painting there.
  3. In the area where you meet Granny Rags and Slackjaw, head upstairs into Granny Rags’ bedroom. The painting is hanging right over her bed.
