Think of stats as your heroes' core abilities. You can use these points to boost these stats, making your heroes more effective. Leveling Up and Upgrading When a hero levels up, you'll get a chance to improve their stats. Just head to the hero database (look for the folder icon next to the map) and find the "Upgrade" tab. You can then select which stat to increase. Heads up: Once you confirm a change, you can't take it back, so choose wisely! Most heroes hit level 2 after gaining 1000 XP. Every level after that requires an extra 300 XP. The only exceptions are Invisigal, who hits level 2 at 700 XP, and Waterboy, who reaches level 2 at just 400 XP. Dispatching Outcomes Every hero and every call has stats associated with it. You won't always know the exact stats needed for a call beforehand. That's where your assessment skills come in! Look at the keywords and information provided for a call to figure out which hero's stats are the best fit. If a call allows you to send multiple heroes, their stats will combine. This can give you a much higher stat total and a better chance of success. Injuries Sometimes, things don't go as planned, and a hero might get injured during a call. If this happens, all of their stats will temporarily drop by 1. Be careful, because if an injured hero gets injured again, they can become downed, which is a much bigger problem.
