Bravery is the large number displayed above your HP bar in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. It directly measures your attack strength.

By attacking your opponent with the [Circle] button, you can steal away their Bravery. This action does not affect their HP (Hit Points).

If an opponent's Bravery falls to zero, they will 'Break'. This event grants you a large boost to your own Bravery, making it an excellent opportunity to begin attacking with the [Square Button].
