Learn what armor, skills, and money carry over from Xenoverse 1 to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Discover new mechanics and TP Medal shop details.
Walkthrough
- 1When creating a new character, you can carry over armor and skills from one of your characters from Xenoverse 1.
- 2Some skills are forbidden and will be exchanged for Zeni and TP Medals (a type of currency obtained in small amounts by completing quests).
- 3Be aware that many skills and armor pieces have been nerfed, meaning their stats may have been changed significantly.
- 4However, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's fighting system is more versatile; combos of physical attacks and strike supers are now as useful as ki blast supers and ultimates.
- 5All your money (Zeni) will carry over.
- 6You will also receive TP Medals, which can be used to buy items from shops instead of Zeni, or at the special TP Medal shop.
- 7The TP Medal shop offers rare armor and skills and is open only from Friday to Sunday.
- 8Campaign mode progress, unlocked parallel quests, and most other progress made with other characters will NOT be carried over to a new character, including playable characters like Goku and Krillin (excluding DLC (downloadable content — extra missions or items released after launch) characters).
- 9Only money (Zeni and TP Medals), skills, and armor (unless already equipped by another character) are carried over between characters.
- 10Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 includes Awoken skills, which are transformations like Super Saiyan, now available to more races.
- 11There are 9 Awoken skills in total:
- 12Super Saiyan: Obtainable by completing extra Saiyan-only quests in the Capsule Corp time rift. Usable by Saiyan only.
- 13Super Vegeta: Obtainable by completing the final Saiyan-only quest in the Capsule Corp time rift. Usable by Saiyan only.
- 14Future Super Saiyan: Obtainable by completing a hidden chapter of the campaign mode. Usable by Saiyan only.
- 15Become Giant: Obtainable by completing extra Namekian-only quests in Guru's house time rift. Usable by Namekian only.
- 16Golden Mode: Obtainable by completing extra Frieza race-only quests in Frieza's ship time rift. Usable by Frieza race only.
- 17Pure Majin: Obtainable by completing extra Majin-only quests in Majin Buu's house time rift. Usable by Majin only.
- 18Flying Nimbus: Obtainable by completing extra Human-only quests in Hercule's house time rift. Usable by Human only.
- 19Kaioken: Obtainable as a drop from Parallel Quest 8 (Ultimate Finish needed). Usable by ALL RACES.
- 20Potential Awaken: Obtainable by beating the Super Class Test. Usable by ALL RACES.
