Master Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle's Quest Mode with our comprehensive walkthrough. Learn strategies, boss weaknesses, and rewards for every stage, including Dragon Stone bonuses.

In Quest mode, you will follow a storyline where Trunks and you are requested by King Kai to investigate a dimension distortion. Each stage completed offers a total reward of 3 Dragon Stones (1 Dragon Stone per difficulty). At the end of the final stage, you will receive 2 Dragon Stones for each difficulty completed. For example, completing the final stage 'A Gloomy Parallel World' on Normal will grant 2 Dragon Stones. Repeating it on Hard and Z-Hard will also grant an additional 2 Dragon Stones each.

Walkthrough:

The following charts detail stage information:

Difficulty[Rarity] Boss DescriptionTypeDropDragon Stone
I - Normal
II - Hard
III - Z-Hard

Difficulty: I - Normal, II - Hard, III - Z-Hard.

[Rarity] Boss Description: Rarity, name, and description of the boss (e.g., [SSR] Great Saiyaman Hero of Love and Justice).

Type: TEQ, AGL, INT, PHY, or STR; with E- or S- representing Extreme or Super.

Drop: Indicates if the boss drops a character, special awakening medal, or a guaranteed capsule (capsules must be repeatably obtainable).

Note that Dragon Stones and Awakening Medals are for first clears only.

Dragon Stone: The amount of Dragon Stones gained at the end of the stage.

Tips
  • A good strategy to overcome harder opponents is to play to their weakness by assembling a 6-character team of the same type that has an advantage over the boss. For example, a 6-AGL character team can overcome a high-difficulty STR boss even with a low player level, though it will still be challenging.
  • When you first find the Dragon Balls, make your first two wishes to increase your item limit and team space. This ensures you have enough support items for harder stages and sufficient team space to avoid frequent character management.

Dragon Stones are awarded for completing stages, with specific amounts detailed in the charts. First-time clears of stages also grant Dragon Stones and Awakening Medals.

Note on Stage Layouts:

If multiple bosses are separated by 'STOP' markers (e.g., Area 5, Stage 2), the walkthrough will display separate tables for each section. If multiple bosses appear within a single boss battle (e.g., Area 3, Stage 8), they will be listed together in one table row. For stages with multiple paths leading to different bosses, each path will have its own table. The primary boss to defeat to complete the stage will always be in the topmost table.

STOP sections are only shown when progression is halted. Any in-game STOP markers that do not impede progress will not be included.

As a final note, bosses in Area 10, Stages 2, 3, and 4 lack specific identifications and will be named based on their known series names or similar bosses.
