Complete all 20 objectives in Dragon Quest Builders 2's Scarlet Sands, including building the pyramid and oasis, and learning to sell items.
Walkthrough
- 1Build the pyramid! This is an unmissable objective required for progression. Your people will handle most of the construction.
- 2Build an oasis! Also unmissable and required for progression. You must meadow-ify (use Worm Food, which is 1x grass seed and 2x night soil) around the suggested area and fill it with water. Continue using Worm Food around the shore after filling the center to complete it.

- 7Build a room somewhere down low! (Optional) Dig down until you reach the bottom floor of the map (which cannot be broken through) and build any random room.
- 8Build a hotel! (Optional) This requires a basic bedroom (2x any bed, 1x light source) and a reception room (2x any table, 1x any wall decoration, 1x any tabletop light source, 1x stationery).
- 9Build a very fancy room! (Optional) Create a room with maximum fanciness on your island. You learn about room fanciness in Khrumbul-Dun. Use gold or silver brick/tile for walls and floors, and decorate. This is easier with infinite gold, silver, and coal from the Explorer's Shores.
- 10Increase your overall fanciness! (Optional) Reach 25 ranks of overall fanciness. Each star rating a room receives counts as one rank.
- 11Increase your overall fanciness! (Optional) Reach 50 ranks of overall fanciness.
- 12Sell something! (Optional) Sell 100 items. See detailed selling tips below.
- 13Sell something! (Optional) Sell 200 items.

- 17Breed some pets! (Optional) Achieve 3 pet breedings. Chickens, sheep, and cows will breed automatically if you have a farm and two of each. Dogs and cats require maximum happiness and a Moreberry (a rare form of Strawberry). Learning to get rare crops is necessary for this.
- 18Build a naughty night light! (Optional) This recipe is learned by collecting rubies, which can be farmed high on Iridescent Island or low in Coral Cay. Each naughty night light requires 5x ruby and 1x oil.
- 19Make lots of different kinds of food! (Optional) Cook 30 different food items.
- 20Find more residents! (Optional) Recruit 30 residents. Residents can be found on the Explorer's Shores and through the Main Story.
Selling Things:
- Ensure there is one empty space in front, back, and on all sides around the selling table so people can walk around it. Space out your selling areas accordingly.
- You MUST have a Merchant villager in the area, and it must be within an item shop room. An item shop requires: 1x Table (Any), 1x Price Tag, 1x Shop Sign, and 2x Crate (Any).
- The more residents in an area, the faster items sell.
- Not all residents like all items.
- Selling only occurs when you are on the island, and potentially in the specific area. Selling does not occur if you go to an Explorer's Shore.
- The Stuffed Hammerhood is the best item to sell. You can learn to make it in Skelketraz. Infinite Grass Fibre and Cord can be obtained from the Explorer's Shores. Make many Stuffed Hammerhoods, place them on the selling table, move all residents into the selling area, and wait.
