Elite Dangerous Mission 2 (4) walkthrough: Destroy Archives, Destroy Antenna, and Escape in Vehicle. Includes setup and objectives.

Setup: Auto -2 Explosives from 1st Soldier, +2 Explosives to 4th Soldier, + Ammo to 3rd Soldier.

Objectives: 1. Destroy Archives, 2. Destroy Antenna, 3. Escape in Vehicle.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Switch to the 3rd Soldier and have the others Follow. Move East along the mountain path until you reach the descending ramp into the enemy base. Avoid the forest route as it is heavily mined.
  2. 2
Move onto the ramp and look East. Eliminate the two enemies approaching from the Antenna.
  3. 3
Turn North towards the base. After killing the guards, more soldiers will emerge from buildings. Two soldiers will approach your position up the ramp. Eliminate them.
  4. 4
Move to the right edge of the ramp and look NE. Take out the lone guard near the parking area. This will draw out two more guards from a nearby building; eliminate them.
  5. 5
Engage the last two guards near the vehicles.
  6. 6
Still controlling the sniper (3rd Soldier), look West and move to the ramp's edge. Locate and snipe the single patrolling enemy near the archive building.
  7. 7
Switch control to the 1st Soldier. Run North down the ramp into the base. Move South to the archive building. Position yourself to the left of the door, slightly left of it but able to see inside when opened.
  8. 8
Open the door and be prepared for close-quarters combat with two soldiers inside. Eliminate them.
  9. 9
Move upstairs, strafe right, and kill the soldier in the next hallway.
  10. 10
Proceed forward, turn left (South) into the darker hallway, and face the door on the left with a sign above it.
  11. 11
Open this door to reveal a room with three soldiers. Shoot the first one to your left, then back up slightly. Strafe left and turn right to get a sweeping view of the room and kill the second enemy. Face South, strafe left into the room, and kill the third soldier.
  12. 12
Place an Explosive by the group of barrels on the South end of the room (behind where the 2nd enemy was standing). Set the timer for approximately 45 seconds.
  13. 13
Exit the building through the East door, head straight down the hallway, and leave through the same door you entered. You can leave the 1st Soldier at the bottom of the ramp or have him rejoin the squad. If leaving him, have the 2nd Soldier descend the ramp as well.
  14. 14
Switch back to the 3rd Soldier and have the 4th follow. Move East along the mountain path until it turns North.
  15. 15
Locate the antenna and the lone soldier in a small bunker next to it. Snipe the soldier.
  16. 16
Move to a position above the parking lot. Eliminate the four soldiers by the base exit to the NW.
  17. 17
Switch to the 4th Soldier. Move to the antenna, climb the stairs, and get close to the ladder in the middle. Place two explosives side-by-side next to the antenna. Set the first for just over a minute and sync the second with it.
  18. 18
Run back down the stairs and rejoin the 3rd Soldier. Have the 3rd and 4th Soldiers move back to the 1st and 2nd Soldiers' positions.
  19. 19
Control any of your squad members and have the others Follow you to the parking lot to the East.
  20. 20
Enter the covered truck and wait for all squad members to enter.
  21. 21
Start the truck and drive North through the open gate until the Objective COMPLETE message appears.
Tips
  • This mission can be completed quickly on the first try if everything goes smoothly.
  • Be prepared for close-quarters combat when entering the archive building.
