Ghost Gunners

When moving throughout much of Mexico City, make sure to run from cover to cover. Use walls and other debris to hide yourself and your teammates. This is the most important thing to remember while playing Ghost Gunners.

Whenever you have to turn a corner, make sure that you check it out first by peeking. To do this, push up into a wall and then move over to the corner. When you reach the corner, you'll be able to peek and even fire some rounds around the corner without exposing yourself too much. Press Y to get back off the wall.

Note: This tactic does not work on Xbox Live. This is probably because they thought it would give an unfair advantage to campers.

Alright, let's talk about blasting your way through Ghost Gunners! Using your weapons is pretty straightforward, but there are a few tricks to make sure you're not caught with an empty clip or throwing a smoke bomb when you meant to lob a frag.

Firing Your Weapons: To let loose with your primary weapon, just hit the RT button. Keep an eye on your firing reticule – if it turns red, that means your shot is going to be way more accurate. Don't underestimate this! It can make the difference between landing a headshot and just making noise.

Ammo Management: Ammo in Ghost Gunners can disappear faster than you'd think. To make sure you're always stocked up, press and hold the -A- button. This is your go-to for grabbing more ammo, so make it a habit whenever you have a spare second.

Weapon Switching: You've got your primary weapon, your trusty pistol, and some handy grenades. To switch between them, hold down the -B- button. While holding -B-, move the analog stick up or down to cycle through your options. Get comfortable with this so you can swap weapons on the fly without missing a beat.

Firing Modes: Need to go full auto, tap fire, or just single shot? Hold down the -A- button. While holding -A-, you can choose between Automatic, Burst, and Semi-automatic firing modes. Pick the right mode for the situation – automatic is great for suppressing fire, while burst or semi-auto can save ammo and improve accuracy in a pinch.

Grenade Tactics: Using grenades effectively can really turn the tide. First, you'll need to switch to your grenades by holding -A-. Once selected, you can choose the specific type of grenade by pushing in the right analog stick.

• Smoke Grenades: These are incredibly useful. If you need to move across an open area or get from cover to cover, toss a smoke grenade. It'll give you the cover you need to reach your destination safely.
• Frag Grenades: Great for when you've got a group of enemies bunched up. A well-placed frag can clear them out quickly.

Grenade Throwing Tip: The longer you hold down the RT button after selecting a grenade, the farther it will travel. Practice this to get a feel for the range. Just remember, you're pretty vulnerable while you're going through the grenade throwing animation, so make sure you've got some cover or a clear line of sight before you start winding up!

For enemies who are a bit farther away, you can hold down LT (the left trigger) in order to get off a more accurate shot.

If the enemy is even farther and you need to zoom in more, then some weapons come supplied with a scope that you can use. Simply push in the Right Analog stick and you can zoom in either 2X or 4X, depending on the scope.
