Learn about Ghost Gunners Solo Elimination, Territory, and Objective modes, including Bounty Hunter, Last Man Standing, and Hamburger Hill.
Solo Elimination Mode
Solo Elimination modes in Ghost Gunners are fast-paced due to random spawn points, which can even result in players spawning at the same location and time. There are five distinct game types:
- Bounty Hunter: Each player is assigned a target that appears highlighted on the (minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen)) (a small map usually in the corner of the HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)). Bonus points are awarded for eliminating your assigned target, and one point is given for eliminating non-targets. Getting shot resets your bonus points for consecutive target eliminations. The player with the most points wins.
- Last Man Standing: Players cannot (respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death)) (reappear after being defeated). The last player alive wins the match.
- Seek and Destroy: The player who scores the first kill becomes a target for everyone else. This is a game of tag; when someone shoots the current target, they become the new target. The target earns 1 point for each kill they achieve while being the target. Other players earn 1 point for killing the target and 0 points for killing other players.
- Sharshooter: The first player to achieve 10 kills (or a custom amount) wins the match.
- Thief: The player with the most kills becomes the thief and is hunted by other players. Players earn two points for eliminating the thief and one point for eliminating other players. Each player has a limited number of respawns.
Solo Territory Mode
In this mode, players compete in a (free roam (the open-world mode where you move and play without an active mission)) (open world where you can go anywhere) environment, fighting for control of specific zones on the map. There is one primary game type, but it is fully customizable.
- Hamburger Hill: Features a single zone in the center of the map. Occupying this zone earns you points, and the first player to reach 150 points wins. Helicopters will also be present, circling the central zone and attacking players.
Solo Objective Mode
The objective in these games is for individual players to locate and secure objects on the map while other players attempt to hunt them down.
- Escort: Players must find an armed officer. While in custody of the player who found him, the officer will shoot at other players. You cannot kill the officer, only the player controlling him. After eliminating the player controlling the officer, you gain custody. Points are awarded for holding the officer, and the player with the most points at the end wins.
- Flag Carry: A single flag is located in the center of the map, and players must race to capture it. Points are awarded to players who hold the flag, and the player who holds it for the longest duration wins.
