Complete Path to the Mountain in god of war 2018. Unlock Executioner's Cleave and find the Hel's Touch Runic Attack.
Walkthrough
- 1Head toward the aftermath of your battle with the Stranger to find a path to the canyon below. Drop down and proceed along the ledge, over the gap, and toward the rune marked wall.
- 2Begin climbing the rune marked wall. At the top, jump to the right to the next part of the wall before climbing up toward the cave entrance. Walls with rune markings are scalable.
- 3Enter the cave and climb the ledge. In the room with platforms, use your axe to bring down a container. Collect the Hacksilver from the container and two sacks, and from a corpse in the corner.
- 4Boost Atreus up onto the platform ahead. Head to the wheel to the right and pull it back as far as possible.
- 5When Atreus crosses the bridge, have him drop the chain below. Before releasing the wheel, throw your axe at the runic disc to keep the bridge lowered.
- 6Climb the chain, take a left, and jump the gap to open the Hacksilver chest.
- 7Retrace your steps, cross the lowered bridge, and climb the wall. Ascend the wall, climb to the left, and drop onto the platform below. Kick the chain down for a shortcut.
- 8Climb the platform, squeeze through the gap to reach the Wildwoods Edge.
- 9Engage the two Draugrs in the clearing. After defeating the first three Draugr, you will encounter Projectile Draugr that hurl fireballs. Prioritize these enemies, stunning them with your axe as they charge up. Be aware of flashing purple threat indicators, which signify incoming projectile attacks.
- 10After defeating the first Projectile Draugr, more will spawn. You will be instructed on how to perform a Quick Turn by pressing the [Circle] button or [B] key to evade. Target Projectile Draugr with Atreus' arrows or your axe.
- 11After the battle, head toward the frozen waterfall to find a hanging container. Continue past the log to find a healthstone.
- 12Head toward the runes on the wall. Collect the Hacksilver to the left and have Atreus read the runes.
- 13Climb the ledge and head forward. Kill the Hel-Reaver that ambushes you from the right. Search where it appeared for a sack of Hacksilver.
- 14Proceed forward, picking up the healthstone if needed. To your right, find a chest containing your first Light Runic Attack gem, Hel’s Touch.
- 15Equip Hel’s Touch by holding [L1] and pressing [R1]. This attack creates a stunning shockwave around Kratos, pushing back enemies and causing stun damage.
