Complete walkthrough for Granblue Fantasy: Relink's Prologue, 'The Forgotten Sky'. Learn how to start the game, defeat Wyverns and Proto Bahamut, and earn The Forgotten Sky trophy.
From the game's title screen, start a New Game. You need to set the Difficulty Level for your game.
- Story - For players who prefer a cinematic experience with a side of lighter combat.
- Action - For players who want to enjoy story and combat. This is the standard difficulty.
- Hard - For players who want to put their action-game skills to the test.
In "Story" mode, you also can choose whether or not to activate Assist Mode.
To begin the game, choose your Main Character. You can select either a male avatar or a female avatar for the character you will control to begin the story. Once the game begins, these characters act the same in cutscenes and will function the same in gameplay, using the same weapons, acquiring the same skills, etc. The only difference is the avatar you choose. You will be able to switch your avatar later. The default name for the Main Character is Gran (male) or Djeeta (female). You can edit the name if you wish. Confirm your selections and the game begins.
Speak with your crew
After the opening scenes, you will have control of your Main Character aboard the airship, Grandcypher. When you can move around, your current objectives are shown in checklist form in the upper right corner of the screen. For now, talk to the other people on the ship's deck. Speak with the three crew members denoted by an objective marker () to advance the story.
Defeat the wyverns
As you return to the main deck, the ship is attacked by Wyverns. Jump () over the debris in front of you and follow the tutorial to defeat the lead Wyvern.
Lvl 5 Wyvern
To begin with, the Wyvern will not attack you. Set up your combos with basic attacks () and finish with unique attacks (). After you reduce the Wyvern's HP to half, it will begin attacking you. When it glows red, it is preparing to use a spinning tail sweep attack or to breathe fire. The tutorial will explain how to Guard () to block the Wyvern's attacks and how to Dodge () to avoid taking damage. Continue Attacking, while Guarding or Dodging when Wyvern prepares to attack you, to finish off the lizard.
With the foe dispatched, run to protect Lyria at the other end of the deck. As the scene continues, Lyria summons Bahamut to end the battle quickly. When Bahamut turns on your party, you must fight it, too.
Knock some sense into Proto Bahamut
Proto Bahamut
Items: Prism Chip x1, Fortitude Shard x1 This practice battle continues the combat tutorial. Proto Bahamut has no HP bar; the fight will end when the battle events conclude. Proto Bahamut is a flying enemy and sometimes will be out of the Captain's range. It will swoop in toward the airship for its attacks. - Proto Bahamut will chop at the ship with its fist and drag its claw along the deck. - It can swipe at a target with either claw or with both claws in succession. - It may incline its head and bite sideways at a target three times. - It will slam both claws down onto the ship's deck. - It will hover upright in the air and conjure ten spheres of light that it will hurl simultaneously at the ship as exploding balls. Avoid the red circles on the deck that show where the balls will strike. When Proto Bahamut places both front claws flat on the deck, you have an opportunity to press your attack. It will periodically fly around or under the ship to rise on the other side. Move to that side to continue the battle. Eventually it will throw back its head signalling its Reginleiv skill, a side-to-side breath beam special attack. Evade this attack by dodging toward Proto Bahamut and under the beam. Moving to a position out of range at the bow of the ship, Proto Bahamut will begin collecting energy. This starts a countdown to its ultimate attack, Skyfall, a light-elemental breath beam. Fortunately, Rackam's gun is able to interrupt the attack. After, Proto Bahamut will collapse at the front of the ship and you can go all-out with your attacks.
When you finally subdue Proto Bahamut, a scene occurs that takes you into the next Chapter.
Complete this tutorial Prologue and you obtain The Forgotten Sky Trophy/Achievement.
