How to Get Mint Shards

Find Mint Shards in grounded 2 at Snackbar, Picnic, and Ice Cream Cart. Craft Egg Storage, Mint Arrows, Glacial Sting, and Butterfly Circlet.

Fresh Mint can be found in several locations across the grounded 2 map. These resources are crucial for crafting various items.

Fresh Mint Locations:

• Snackbar Region: Four Fresh Mints are on the wooden platform next to the Snackbar (one outside, three inside the mint package). Another is southwest under the Snackbar. One more is found in the main anthill for the Hatchery quest.
• Picnic Region: Two Fresh Mints are in the Briefcase on the Picnic Table. Another is by the Chacas box next to the Briefcase. One more is in the Fridge Cooler atop the Picnic table.
• Ice Cream Cart Region: Two Fresh Mints are by the Southwestern side of the Ice Cream spillage. One is by the Northeast side of the Ice Cream Cart Spillage. Others are dotted around the various tunnels inside the tipped-over Ice Cream Cart. Two more are by the tree to the north of the Ice Cream Cart.

Crafting with Mint Shards:

Mint Shards are primarily used for the following items:

• Egg Storage (Base Building): Requires Pebblet x3, Acorn Shell x3, Mite Fuzz x3, Mint Shard x2. This building is useful for co-op saves, allowing players to incubate and store multiple eggs safely.
• Mint Arrow (Tier 2 Arrow): Requires Feather Arrow x10, Mint Shard x1. These arrows are useful for applying the Chilled status effect to enemies weak to it.
• Glacial Sting (Tier 2 Weapon): Requires Mint Shard x4, Northern Scorpion Stinger x1, Pine Needle x2.
• Butterfly Circlet (Tier 2 Head): Requires Blue Butterfly Scales x4, Blue Butterfly Chunk x4, Mint Shard x5. This item is part of a set that increases Fresh damage while Parrier Barrier is active, offering good synergy for Fresh Mage builds.
