Alright, let's talk about building in Hytale! You'll be placing blocks all over the place to create your structures, from simple homes to elaborate castles. Think of blocks as the fundamental building units of the Hytale world, kind of like digital LEGOs. Right now, we know Hytale's world is made up of these blocks, but the exact number and how they'll all work with things like crafting are still a bit of a mystery. Don't worry, though, as soon as we get more info, we'll fill you in! We've seen a few categories of blocks so far: * General Blocks: These are the everyday blocks that make up the land, like Grass Block, Dirt, Tilled Soil, Stone, Marble, Quartzite, and Ice. You'll find these all over Orbis. Some of these might also be used in crafting recipes. * Lighting Blocks: These blocks give off light, which is super handy for exploring dark caves or just making your base look cozy. We've seen things like the Wooden Torch, Campfire, Candle Stick, Candelabrum, Iron Brazier, and the spooky Skull candelabra. * Liquid Blocks: These are blocks that act like fluids and can flow. You can swim in them, but be careful – some, like Lava, can hurt you! We've also got Water, Poison, Slime, Pink Slime, Tar, and Mud. * Benches (Workstations): These are special blocks that take up more than one space and are essential for progressing. Think of them as your crafting stations. You'll use them to smelt Ores into Bars, forge Weapons and Armor, brew Potions, or cook Food. Many of these workstations have their own unique interface to help you out. Keep an eye out for these as you explore, and get ready to start building your own corner of the Hytale world!
