Hey there! So, you're venturing into Hytale and wondering about those old structures you'll be finding? Let's talk about Ruins. These are super common prefabs scattered all over Orbis, and they really spice up the world with different designs depending on the zone or biome you're in. Some are just eerie remnants of the past, while others are packed with hostile mobs or hold secrets about Hytale's lore. Keep an eye out, because you never know what you'll find! ### Types of Ruins There are a few distinct types of ruins you'll encounter: * Emerald Grove Ruins: Found in Zone 1, these ruins are usually on the plains. They come in all sorts of shapes – think run-down watchtowers, castles, and mansions. They're mostly built with stone, wood, and quartzite, and often have grass, ivy, and even trees growing out of them. Sometimes, you might even find Elemental Crystals inside! * Howling Sands Ruins: Heading into Zone 2, specifically the deserts, you'll find these. They look like abandoned fortresses made from materials unique to that zone. * Scorched Ruins: These are a bit more mysterious. Found in an unknown biome, they're described as ominous, burnt-down homes and villages, originally created by Humans. What's really creepy is that the torches in these ruins still burn, even with no one around.
