Chapter 42

You'll begin on a platform in the water. Get a running start and jump to the right, then swim across to the next platform. You'll need to climb up quickly before the Mermaid catches you.

On this second platform, you'll see a chain hanging from the ceiling with a red button nearby. Climb the chain and press the red button. This will move the chain a short distance to the right before it returns to its starting position.

Here's the tricky part: when the chain is at its furthest point to the right, hang from the bottom of it so your legs are dangling in the water. This will attract the Mermaid to that spot.

Once the Mermaid is lured, quickly climb back up the chain and ride it back to the second platform.

Now that the Mermaid is further to the left, run and jump off the platform to the right again. Swim downwards as fast as you can to find another red button.

Hit this button and then immediately swim through the door on the right as it starts to close. This will trap the Mermaid in the previous room.

After successfully trapping the Mermaid, swim up to the surface and climb the ladder onto the walkway above.

Tips: Timing is crucial in this section. Don't hesitate when you need to swim or jump, as the Mermaid is persistent. Make sure you press the buttons quickly and then move to the next objective without delay.
