Complete Hollow Bastion in KH 1.5 ReMIX. Learn how to beat Riku, find Mythril, and defeat enemies like Defenders and Stealth Soldiers.
Walkthrough
- 1In The Rising Falls, drop onto the water to walk on it. Jump over rocks to find a Chest with a Life-G.
- 2Return to the start and use Blizzara to freeze bubbles, jumping on them to reach a Chest with Dalmatians 91, 92, and 93.
- 3Glide to a central area, freeze the bubble there, and hop to a platform to claim a Blizzara Ring from a Chest.
- 4Jump into the frozen bubble to go underwater and find a Chest with a Meteor-G.
- 5Head back up the platforms; a scene will play, and Donald and Goofy will leave, with Beast joining. Sora will lose his Keyblade.
- 6Glide to the Chest behind you for a Megalixir, then climb to the Castle Gates to face new enemies.
- 7To enter The Castle, turn right from the entrance and go through the gate. Examine the red crystal, then the blue one to descend.
- 8Let Beast take out the Darkballs, then jump into the bubble on the left off the water.
- 9Jump up to a Chest for a Mythril, then across to another Chest for a Thundara-G.
- 10Use the crystal here to slide out a platform. Jump and Glide across platforms back to where you entered this zone to find a Paper-G in a Chest on the ledge.
- 11Return to the area with the movable block and push it to reach the platform opposite the entrance.
- 12Use the crystal here to extend another platform, then cross to the Waterway. Call Beast to break the gate and take the Thundaga-G from the Chest.
- 13Head back to the Base Level and use the other bubble. Open the Chest for a Fira Ring, then utilize the Save Point.
- 14Freeze the bubble on the other side with Blizzara and jump on it, then to a ledge up high. Open the Chest for Dark Matter.
- 15Use the bubble you just froze to reach another section of the Waterway.
- 16Have Beast break the stone wall and defeat the Heartless in the Dungeon. Open the Chest for an Ultima-G and Thundaga, then note the Trinity Jump in this room.
- 17Leave the Dungeon and go left to a switch, release it. Move up and press another switch to move gates, then use a third switch to reveal the final one. Pressing it grants access to the next section.
- 18Use the bubble here to hit another switch that raises a platform to a Defender. Distract it so Beast gets a back attack, then release the switch.
- 19Return to the Castle Gates by using the switches in reverse order and enter the Entrance Hall.
- 20Proceed to the BOSS - Riku.
- 21After the Riku fight, you learn Trinity Detect. Head up the steps into the room with the Heartless Symbol. On the right pillar is a small ledge you can grab onto to reach the upper level.
Enemy Analysis:
- Darkball: These enemies charge and bite. They can move through darkness, becoming un-hittable. Attack them when they emerge from darkness as they charge. Their rapid movements can deflect attacks, but they have low HP.
- Defender: These enemies have a giant shield that blocks all frontal attacks. The shield can use Fire (deflectable) and Blizzard (not deflectable). The best strategy is to Dodge Roll to their backside and combo. Gravity magic also works and deals significant damage.
- Wyvern: These large enemies perform a swooping attack to knock you back. Avoid jumping to hit them, as you might fall. Focus on defeating other Heartless and wait for the Wyvern to come to you.
- Wizard: Often appearing in groups, Wizards cast various magic spells. They can disappear and reappear like Search Ghosts and are impervious to Thunder attacks. They should be prioritized targets.
- Stealth Soldier: These invisible enemies are targetable and damageable. They attack swiftly with a powerful charge attack. Use Aero to mitigate damage and defeat other Heartless first. Using Stop on a Stealth Soldier makes it visible and freezes it. They are tougher at lower levels but can be hunted in the Grand Hall at higher levels.
