Navigate Traverse Town in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX with our comprehensive guide. Find Dalmatians, Trinity Charges, and defeat bosses like Opposite Armor.
Walkthrough
- 1Start by going down the alley past the Accessory Shop where Sora first appeared. Find Trinity Charge #1 which leads to a Chest in the Alleyway containing Dalmatians 4, 5 and 6.
- 2Head to the Second District and fight through the Gizmo Shop down to the Dalmatians’ House to claim any rewards.
- 3Find the red Trinity Charge mark in the alley you first arrived in. Check at the Dalmatians’ House for rewards.
- 4The Yellow Opera casts Thunder. It has no elemental weakness and must be defeated by direct attacks. It's best to single them out.
- 5The Green Requiem casts Cure on damaged allies. Target Green Requiems first in battles. They often appear with Large Bodies and other wizards.
- 6The Air Soldier flies and uses a swooping charge. Use magic or Aerial Combos. Take out other Heartless before Air Soldiers.
- 7Sniperwilds appear in the middle of the Second District. Avoid being seen, or they will lock on and fire invisible projectiles. The best tactic is using Stop then defeating as many as possible. Have Donald and Goofy assist. You gain experience for each kill (10, 20, 30, etc.). After defeating 6, there's a 35% chance for Power Drop; after 12, 50%; after 18, 60%; after 24, 100%; after 30, 2 more at 100%. The spawn pattern is 1, then 2, then 3, then resets. A riskier, mana-conserving tactic is to hit one with Fire near the First District entrance, lure it, and kill it. If spotted and reinforcements are summoned, you gain no items or experience, so leave.
- 8Head to the Alleyway. In front of the waterway is Trinity Charge #2, granting access to the Secret Waterway.
- 9Talk to Leon a few times to receive the Earthshine Gem.
- 10Check near the steps for a Chest with Dalmatians 10, 11 and 12.
- 11Head to Cid at the Accessory Shop. He needs the Old Book to install the Gummi. Take the Old Book to Merlin.
- 12Talk to Merlin in the Magician’s Study, then talk to the Fairy Godmother to learn how to summon Simba.
- 13Head back to the Third District to meet Riku. Enter the Vacant House near the Second District exit and talk to Cid. He gives you the Warp-G.
- 14Check the bell atop the Gizmo Shop in the Second District. Find Cid again in the First District to receive a Comet-G, then save your game.
- 15Climb atop the Gizmo Shop and use Trinity Charge #3 to reach the bell. Ring it three times and jump down for a boss fight. Equip the Jungle King Keyblade.
BOSS: Opposite Armor
- The boss starts as Guard Armor, then switches to Opposite Armor after taking minimal damage.
- Start by defeating the “hands” to stop the spin attack. Be a bit reckless initially to parry attacks.
- Focus on the “feet” next. You likely won’t defeat them before the Body pulls them in and charges a powerful beam.
- Avoid the beam by heading down alleys or using steps to block. The beam fires regardless of line of sight.
- Using Simba is not recommended. Stick to aerial attacks and backing away.
