Chapter 11: Simon Manus, Awakened God

Conquer Simon Manus, the Awakened God, in Lies of P: Overture. This guide covers the Relic of Trismegistus Combat Field, Black Seaside, and Arche Abbey challenges.

Alright, so we're heading into the thick of it now. Chapter 11 is where things really ramp up, and we're about to face one of the game's major antagonists: Simon Manus, the Awakened God. It's a long stretch with a lot of ground to cover, so let's break it down step-by-step.

Hotel Krat Preparations

1. First things first, head back to Hotel Krat. You'll want to talk to Pulcinella. Choose the option to "Add shop goods" and then "Hand over the Great Venigni Collection." This will net you a Radiant Ergo Chunk. Pulcinella's shop will also be updated with some new, useful items. Take a look at what he's selling:
   • Balance Crank, Motivity Crank, Technique Crank, Advance Crank (Handle Altering Material) - Stock: 2, Price: 1,900 Ergo each
   • Durability Grindstone, Perfection Grindstone - Stock: 1, Price: 1,000 Ergo each
   • LADA Fiber-Reinforced Liner, LADA Multi-Layer Liner, LADA Spaced Armor Liner - Stock: 1, Price: 2,300 Ergo each
2. Now, this next part is crucial for certain endings and dialogue. Talk to Venigni. You'll need to choose "I couldn't hear." This choice, along with others later, impacts the ending. For the "Free From the Puppet String" ending, remember to choose "Geppetto caused the Puppet Frenzy" when prompted later.
3. The DLC update has made some changes here, but to get the Far East Princess record and the associated trophy, you'll need to tell Eugénie the truth. Talk to Venigni again, choose "Decipher a Cryptic Vessel," and then "Hand over Alidoro's Cryptic Vessel." This will give you the Alidoro's Cryptic Vessel Decryption.
4. Read the decryption, then speak with Eugénie. Select the dialogue option "He was Eugénie's older brother."
5. After that, use the Stargazer. Talk to Eugénie again to receive the Far East Princess record.
6. Next, speak with Bell, and then with Venigni to obtain the King of Puppets' Message.
7. Finally, use the Stargazer and choose to "Play the King of Puppets' Message."

Relic of Trismegistus Combat Field & Black Seaside

1. Head back to the harbor. On your way, keep an eye out near a lamp on the right side for a Full Moonstone.
2. Search the ground near the barrels to find The Great Venigni and Pistris the Submarine.
3. Pull the lever to board the submarine. Once inside, you'll have a chance to talk to Sophia. Choose "Talk," then "Simon," and finally "About the meaning of the tool."
4. Continue forward through the area, listening to the ghostly conversations. You'll eventually find a Stargazer to repair.
5. You'll arrive in the Black Seaside area. It looks rough, but focus on the immediate threats. Rush up the stairs and take out all the snipers. Staying close to the walls can help you avoid their line of sight.
6. With the snipers dealt with, carefully pull the Scorpion Beasts one at a time. They won't respawn, so you can afford to be methodical.
7. Check the Altar to obtain So Said Pistris II.
8. Continue up the steps towards the boss arena. You'll face the Door Guardian here. This boss has been significantly nerfed in updates, so it should be much easier than in earlier versions. Defeat it to get the High-level Alchemist Badge.
9. Step onto the tile in front of the boss arena and use the badge to proceed. Repair the Stargazer.

Arche Abbey Entrance & Outer Wall

1. As you enter the Arche Abbey Entrance, rush up the stairs to the right to activate a bridge. Then, run back and climb the scaffolding to take out the snipers positioned above. Be aware that the large carcass beast might fall off the ledge as you climb – it's a bit of a glitchy encounter.
2. Push the button to lower a ladder. Continue up the large steps, and be ready to cross a large bridge guarded by two Scorpion Beasts.
3. Open the chest on this bridge to find the Veteran's Amulet.
4. Climb the ladder on the right side of the area and repair the Stargazer.
5. At the Arche Abbey Outer Wall, head up the steps. The main door will be locked. Look for platforms to drop down to a decay platform.
6. Climb the ladder and search the stack of books to find Bundle of Old Letters.
7. Continue upwards, taking out the gunner on the ledge. Keep an eye out for a Dimensional Butterfly on your way up; defeating it will drop a Full Moonstone of the Covenant.
8. Backtrack a bit to reach the locked door and press the button to open a shortcut.
9. Proceed up to a small library area. Search the ground for First Discovery, Camille.
10. Continue upwards and deal with another Scorpion Beast. Check a small room nearby for a chest containing the Acidic Great Curved Sword.
11. Outside, you can jump across to a rooftop on the left for another Full Moonstone of the Covenant.
12. Go up the staircase to activate another bridge. Be careful of the wall pillars that can knock you off.
13. Cross this bridge, facing a gunner and a Scorpion Beast. Prioritize the gunner first.
14. Open the chest here to get the LADA F350 Frame.
15. Push the button to lower another ladder shortcut. Continue upwards into a large, multi-level room. There's a Full Moonstone on the top level.
16. Be cautious on the ground level, as a Muscle Puppet will emerge from the walls.
17. Ride the lift up, but hop off early and drop to the lower level. Open the chest to find the Legion Caliber.
18. Hop down and look for a hallway with trap tiles. Ride the lift down.
19. Talk to Test Subject 826 and choose "Happy." Talk to them again.
20. Step on the tile and use the badge to open the shortcut door. Go back up the lift and enter the Trinity Sanctum.
21. If you've completed the DLC, Arlecchino will have some extra dialogue. It's your call if you want to tackle the DLC now or later.
22. Talk to Arlecchino. Choose "Human" to receive the Alchemist's Cape and Quartz.
23. Speak with Arlecchino again, choosing "Talk" and then "About how he called."
24. Talk to him again, selecting "Talk" and then "About whether he is a serial killer."
25. Finally, choose "Talk" and then "The truth behind the Venigni Incident" to get the Moon World Warrior Toy.
26. After this conversation, choose to "Attack" Arlecchino. Defeat him to get a Radiant Ergo Crystal.
27. Ride the lift all the way to the top this time. Cross the bridge, but watch out for Mr. X! A Dimensional Butterfly here drops a Full Moonstone.
28. Push the button to lower the ladder.
