Chapter 9: Corrupted Parade Master

At Hotel Krat, talk to Antonia to get Greet and Radiant Ergo Fragment.

Talk to Alidoro twice, choosing "Talk" and then "About the Wanted poster."

Talk to Polendina to receive Crescent Moonstone.

Talk to Belle and choose "I'll do it."

Talk to Venigni to obtain the Gold lead-acid battery.

At Barren Swamp Bridge, talk to Rookie Explorer Hugo, choose "Talk," and then "About Medoro" to receive Dim Ergo Chunk.

At Barren Swamp Nest, proceed through the cave until you find a ladder going up. Turn around and look for a ledge on the left. Search near the body to obtain the Frayed Notebook.

Continue past the ladder and run through the decay tunnel. Search the ground at the end of the platform to obtain Bloody Letter.

Go through the train car and up the steps to repair the Stargazer (a save point).

At Krat Central Station Platform, drop into the decay pit between the trains. Open the chest to obtain Quartz.

Backtrack slightly and drop through the hole in the floor. Go through the train on Track D, being wary of two new enemies with an annoying ranged attack.

Turn right and go up the steps. Press the button to open the shortcut.

Continue past a large carcass enemy and go down the ladder. You will see a large scorpion-like enemy patrolling the area; you may want to run past it to reach the shortcut to the stargazer.

Defeat the Scorpion Beast to get the Murderer Puppet's Amulet.

Enter the Track C train from the beginning of the game and check behind the chair. There is a destructible "wall" behind the chair. Search the desk to obtain Letter From Someone Who Has Gone Ahead. Open the safe to obtain LADA Break Cartridge.

Go back out and take the ladder up between Track A and B. .

Go down the stairs and around to the open car. Warning: Do not rush in; the Infected Man in the open car is having a hard time. Control your bloodlust. Talk to the Infected Man to get Atkinson's Letter.

Return to Hotel Krat. Warning: Another important choice is incoming. Talk to Belle. Choose "He was killed in action fighting a puppet" to get Why, Electric Blitz Container. (For the "Free From the Puppet String" ending, choose "He became a monster.")

Return to Krat Central Station Platform. Go downstairs and ignore the door on your right for a moment; be ready for a huge puppet ambush ahead. Open the chest to obtain Master Chef's Knife.

Return to the side path you skipped. Defeat the Robber Weasel to get Robber Weasel's Mask and Robber Weasel's Hunting Apparel.

Continue up to the balcony and then back down the other side. The Stabilized Alchemical Booster drops from the Dimensional Butterfly (a special enemy that appears briefly) here. Repair the Stargazer.

At Krat Central Station Lobby, which is more dangerous now, watch out for Disruption dogs (enemies that inflict a status effect). Check to the left of the fountain for a chest containing Coil Mjolnir.

Continue until you see a carcass enemy trying to get into a building. Defeat the Mutating Carcass to get Legion Plug. Repair the Stargazer.

At the Abandoned Apartment, talk to the Wandering Merchant. The Wandering Merchant sells the following: Cluster Grenade (3, 330), Shot Put (3, 330), Carcass Body Fluid Bottle (3, 280), Acid Canister (3, 390), Acid Abrasive (5, 440), Stabilized Alchemical Booster (1, 1,600), Legion Caliber (1, 4,000), Military Shovel (1, 3,500), LADA Large Capacity Corrosion Resistance Converter (1, 2,200), LADA Large Capacity Insulation Converter (1, 2,200), LADA Large Capacity Radiation Converter (1, 2,200).

Search the counter to obtain Fairytale of the Three Brothers of the Workshop Tower.

Open the door out to Collapsing Krat. Continue carefully; the crystals cause Disruption, so be careful not to get yourself insta-KO'd (instantly knocked out). Check near a crystal on the right to obtain Lover's Letter.

You will pass a locked shortcut door on the right; continue around to the other side. The Balance Crank drops from the Dimensional Butterfly here. .

Go through the building and drop down into the next one. Defeat the Claw Carcass to get Arch Extra Heavyweight Frame. Use whatever cheesy method works best; this enemy is worse than most bosses. Throwables are probably the easiest way to burn it down fast.

Continue up the steps to repair the Stargazer.

At Collapsed Street, continue up through the building and deal with a new enemy type that is a discount Mr. X (a large, powerful enemy). Search the table to obtain Primer for Workshop Technician.

Continue across the rooftop past the exploding puppet. Press the button to lower the ladder. Turn around and drop onto the puppet below. Drop down near the ladder and look for a chest containing Special Krat Supply Box.

Return to Hotel Krat. Talk to Polendina and choose "Add shop goods," then "Hand over a Special Krat supply box" to get Vivid Ergo Fragment. Polendina now sells the following new items: Half Moonstone (∞, 3,000), Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant (4, 2,080), Full Moonstone of the Covenant (1, 6,500), Full Moonstone of the Covenant (2, 8,000), Quartz (1, 4,400), Legion Caliber (1, 3,800), Rusty Cryptic Vessel (1, 1,000).
