Apocalypse's Conquest

Event Overview: Marvel Zombies was an Event Game Mode available from 10/23/25 to 1/16/26. It was the first PvE mode in Marvel Rivals, pitting up to four players against zombie hordes and a final boss, The Queen of the Dead.

Playable Heroes: Players could choose from Thor, The Punisher, Magik, Blade, and Jeff the Land Shark. Duplicate heroes were allowed.

Modified Abilities: Most heroes had minor ability tweaks. Notably, Jeff the Land Shark's 'It's Jeff!' no longer swallows allies and his 'Healing Bubble' is only usable by him. Thor and The Punisher gained new passive healing abilities ('Electric Vitality' and 'Crisis Recovery' respectively), while The Punisher's 'Warrior's Gaze' was removed.

Map: The event took place in Marvel Zombies: Midtown.

Difficulties: The mode featured Normal, Hard, Extreme, and Nightmare I-IV difficulties.

Missions: Various missions were available, including daily login rewards for Holy Ankhs (used for revives), first-clear rewards for each difficulty, and challenging solo-clear missions for Nightmare III and IV as specific heroes. Rewards included Units, Lanterns (for the Voyage to Astonish event), and unique Titles such as 'Undead Nightmare', 'Zombies' End', 'Queenslayer', and hero-specific titles.

Gameplay Loop: Players would form teams of 1-4, select heroes, and spend starting Moon Power on Khonshu's Blessings. They then faced waves of zombies, earning more Moon Power by defeating enemies and completing wave missions, before preparing for the next wave.
