Key quest milestones for enhancing a Mage's run include:

1. Refresh (20 Quests): Unlocks the Refresh meta upgrade, allowing you to reroll shop items. This is useful for finding specific Tomes or Items for your Mage build.
2. Weapon Slots (25 Quests): Increases your maximum weapon slots by 1, providing more options for offensive or defensive weapons.
3. Tome Slots 1 (30 Quests): Grants an additional tome slot, crucial for Mages who rely on multiple magical abilities.
4. Item Slots (35 Quests): Provides an extra item slot, allowing for more utility or stat-boosting items.
5. Banish (40 Quests): This is a critical unlock. Banish lets you remove one item from the item pool for a single run, dramatically improving build consistency by reducing unwanted item appearances. Rush to 40 quests to get this.
