Fishing is a relaxing and rewarding activity in Megabonk. To start, you'll need a 'Basic Fishing Rod', which can be purchased from the general goods vendor in Oakhaven. Find a body of water, equip your rod, and press F to cast your line. Wait for a splash and a distinct sound cue, then quickly press F again to reel in your catch.

Different bodies of water yield different types of fish, some of which are rare and valuable. Fish can be sold for gold or used in cooking. Cooking requires a 'Cooking Pot' (found in towns or craftable) and various ingredients. Cooked meals provide temporary buffs to stats like health regeneration, damage, or resistance, making them invaluable for challenging encounters.
