Walkthrough
- 1From the start, go right through the door. Use the Aeion Energy Orb (a resource that replenishes over time and can be used for special abilities) if needed.
- 2Jump to the platform, then Space Jump (a move that allows you to jump again in mid-air) and climb up the shaft.
- 3Screw Attack (an attack that allows you to destroy certain blocks and enemies) through the blocks at the top and keep Space Jumping until they return.
- 4Come out of Screw Attack and drop to blocks. Fire a missile up to the block on the right wall and jump up to grab missile expansion ME53.

- 9Roll through the narrow passageway, drop down, and roll right. Fire missiles straight up to remove the blocks, jump up, and roll right to missile expansion ME54.
- 10Bomb (use a missile to destroy specific blocks) the right block, use the Spider Ball (a form that allows you to stick to magnetic surfaces) to reach the narrow passageway above and roll left. Jump and climb up the shaft and go through the left door.
- 11Run left, drop down, and run left again. Roll and jump through the narrow passageways and run left to the door.
- 12Jump to the Save Station. Save, and roll through the narrow passageway under the platform. Drop down, use the Aeion Energy Orb if needed, and jump to the right ledge. Roll through the gap, drop down, and use a Super Missile (a powerful missile type) on the right wall. Roll through.
- 13Drop down and jump to the right ledge. Roll through the gap and fire a missile through the right gap to remove the block, and use the Phase Drift (a temporary ability that slows down time and allows you to pass through certain barriers) to roll through the upper narrow passageway. Drop down, roll left, drop down again, and roll right to Super Missile Expansion SM13.
- 14Run right, drop down, and run left. Jump up, roll left through the narrow passageway, jump up, roll through the gap, and drop down. Use the Aeion Energy Orb if you need to, and jump up. Roll through the gap, jump up, and roll through the narrow passageway. Jump up to the Save Station. Save, and go through the door.
- 15Run right and roll through the narrow passageway. Run right, jump up, and head right to the door.
- 16Drop down the shaft to the right door and go through. Drop down the second shaft, and once again go through the right door. Drop down, run right, and jump up on the right-hand side. Jump and climb up the shaft, using the Aeion Energy Orb if you need to, and go through the door at the top.
- 17Use the Phase Drift to run right across the collapsing platform (a platform that disappears after being stepped on) above. Drop down and shoot the left wall with a missile to uncover Super Missile Expansion SM14.
- 18Use the Grapple Beam (a tool that allows you to latch onto specific points and pull objects) to remove the left block, jump up to the elevator (a platform that moves vertically), and go up.
- 19Use the Grapple Beam to remove the right block. Roll through the gap and jump up the shaft. Roll through the gap and jump right across the water. Use the Ammo Recharge Station (a device that replenishes missile ammo) if you need to, drop into the water, and go through the door.
- 20Jump out of the water, jump up, and run right. Fall down the right shaft and run right to the door.
- 21Jump right across the lava (a hazardous liquid that damages you on contact unless you have specific abilities). Use the Spider Ball to cross to the other side of the wall, or drop into the lava – the Gravity Suit (an upgrade that protects you from environmental hazards like lava) protects you – and run right to the end. Jump up the shaft to the narrow passageway at the top, roll through, drop down, and go through the door.
- 22Run left, drop into the lava, and head left. Use the Grapple Beam to move the left block right, and jump out of the lava. Run left, drop down, and run left again. Jump out of the lava to the platform, and use the Super Missiles on the wall to uncover Super Missile Expansion SM15.
- 23Drop down, run right, and jump out of the lava. Run right, drop down, and head right. Jump out of the lava and head right to the door.
- 24Jump up the shaft, roll through the narrow passageway, and drop down to the bottom. Head left, jump out of the lava, jump left to the door, and go through.
- 25Head left, jump up the shaft, and run left. Drop down, drop into the water, and go through the door.
- 26Jump out of the water, jump left, and roll through the narrow passageway. Drop down, roll through the gap, and go down on the elevator.
- 27Drop down to the ground and roll through the gap. Run left and go through the door.
- 28Run left, roll through the gap, and drop down the shaft to the bottom. Run to the left side of the wall, jump up, and go through the door.
- 29Run left, jump up, and roll through the gap to the Teleport Station. Warp to the first Teleport Station in Area 4.
Tips
- Conserve Aeion Energy if you are not immediately using its abilities.
