From the start, roll through the gap, jump up, and use the Spider Ball to reach the ceiling. Bomb the ceiling, roll up through the gap, and jump up the shaft to the top. Jump to and roll through the gap, then jump up the shaft. Roll through the next gap and shoot the Gryncore to open the door. Proceed through.

Use the Phase Drift ability to run across the collapsing platform. Use the Grapple Beam to reach the block above. Jump to and roll through the gap to find the Super Missile Expansion (SM16).

Drop down the shaft, roll through the gap, and jump up. Use the Grapple Beam to remove the block and roll through the subsequent gap.

Run left and drop down to the Save Station. Save your progress. Jump up, bomb the floor to the left, and drop down. Jump left to the gap, roll through to the Teleport Station, and warp to the second Teleport Station in the area.

Roll through the narrow passageway and drop down to the bottom. Use an Aeion Energy Orb if needed and head right. Use the Phase Drift to shoot the door to the right. Jump to and roll through the narrow passageway, drop down, and roll left through the door before it closes. Bomb the wall to uncover the Super Missile Expansion (SM17).

Go back through the door, roll through the gap, jump to and roll through the narrow passageway, drop down, and head left. Jump and climb the shaft to the Save Station. Save your progress. Jump and climb up to the top left door and go through.

Drop down into the lava, run left, and jump up to find the Missile Expansion (ME55).

Go through the door, roll through the gap under the platform, and drop down. Jump to the left wall and use the Screw Attack through the blocks above. Jump to the alcove and use the Spider Ball to attach to the blocks above. Use bombs to remove these blocks and head up to the Energy Tank (ET7).

Bomb and Screw Attack through the blocks below, drop down, and go through the door.

Run right and jump to the Save Station. Save your progress. Drop down, and roll through the narrow passageway on the left wall to reach the Teleport Station. Warp to the first Teleport Station in Area 5.
