One of the primary challenges involves navigating a series of interconnected rooms where the layout shifts periodically. These "shifting chambers" require players to time their movements precisely, entering and exiting rooms only when the pathways al correctly. Failure to do so can result in being crushed by moving walls or falling into spiked pits. The Corrupted Clerics found here are particularly troublesome. They cast debilitating curses that reduce your damage output by 20% and can summon spectral Shadow Hounds to harass you. Prioritize eliminating the Clerics quickly, perhaps with a charged Soul Rend ability, before dealing with their summoned minions.

The Soul Siphon mechanic becomes crucial here, allowing you to drain energy from certain corrupted altars to temporarily disable traps or empower your own attacks. Be wary of the Soul Devourers, large, amorphous beings that absorb light and can engulf players in darkness, making them vulnerable to their draining attacks. Collecting Crimson Tears from defeated enemies is essential for restoring health and mana in this unforgiving section.
