Part 8

Escape the closing doors by sliding under them, even if they appear too low.

Proceed through the foggy battlefield on Day 5, ignoring fallen comrades.

Retrieve the sword from the ground and defeat all enemies that appear.

Follow the dust blowing through a crevice in the mountainside.

Slide down the slope and continue until ambushed by enemies; defeat them.

On the narrow cliffside, defeat attacking enemies and distant archers firing flaming arrows using your bow.

Proceed to the bridge and prepare for an ambush by more enemies; defeat them all.

As you cross the bridge, flying enemies will attack, initiating a Quick Time Event (QTE). Press A to leap from the falling bridge, then pull both triggers to grab a rope.

Shimmy along the rope by alternating LT and RT. Press B to throw your dagger when an enemy appears.

When you reach the flaming cloth, press A to swing and jump to the next rope.

Continue shimmying and throwing daggers as needed, then swing and leap to the other rope.

Jump onto the stable half of the bridge.

An enemy will roll bombs onto the bridge, causing it to collapse. Press A and then pull both triggers to dig kunai into the bridge.

Use the Kunai Climb ability to ascend the bridge, moving left or right to avoid fire.

Another explosion will cause you to fall; pull the triggers again to dig into the bridge and climb back up.

Throw a dagger to eliminate the enemy and continue climbing. Quickly alternate LT and RT and dodge fire to reach the top safely as the bridge falls apart.

At the top, move through the grass and follow the path until ambushed by enemies; defeat them.

Replenish health and save at the bird monument.

Continue following the path, fighting off any enemies.

Slide under a giant boulder rolling down the hill and fight off the subsequent enemies.

Fire an arrow at the boulder blocking the path to destroy it.

Continue and fight the numerous enemies in the next clearing.

After defeating the enemies, Ryu's arm will act up again. Move to the open area and crawl forward.

After a scene, move through the village, past the man feeding chickens.

Another scene will play, and Ryu will receive a new bow.

Use the bow to shoot one of the targets on the wooden platform.

Walk to the end of the platform and walk off.

Walk through the village, taking the road to the left.

As you approach training ninjas, another scene will play.

After Ryu goes through the door, move past the house.

Block a kid's strikes by pressing LT as prompted, then press X to end the skirmish.

Walk forward and go up the steps.

Save at the bird monument.

After another scene, move through the forest, fighting enemies.

When you reach the water, continue battling foes.

You will eventually reach a spider web blocking the path and be ambushed by more enemies; kill them all.

Your new partner will burn down the spider web with her magic.

Move through the area and continue killing all enemies in the next place.

If Ryu's arm bothers him, the lady will heal it.

After enough enemies are killed, a cut-scene will play.

Mash the X button as prompted to escape the grasp of the giant witch monster.

Rush forward to the glowing growth on the monster's arm and attack it.

Ignore enemies that spawn and the growth turning to stone; fight off the enemies.

When the monster raises its hand, use your bow to shoot the growth on its hand.

Dodge if its hand is balled into a fist to avoid being smashed.

When the growth turns from stone back to its yellow/red color, attack it again.

When enough damage is dealt, mash the Y button to destroy the growth.

Ryu will be sent flying; use LT and RT to start the Kunai Climb when prompted and work your way up to the next growth.

Tilt the left analog stick left or right to avoid tentacles bursting from the monster.

When you reach the growth, mash the Y button to destroy it.

Ryu will be sent flying again to the growth the girl is working on.

Mash the Y button to help her destroy it.
