    Continue up the path and rocky steps.

    Use a double Wall Run to reach Muramasa's Statue.

    Approach the Save Statue and SAVE your game.

    If you decide to do the Test of Valor, be sure to be stocked and ready.

    If not, continue the objective and jump down to the lower subway.

TEST OF VALOR - ONE OF WHITE

The first Test of Valor is across from the Save Statue. Use the Wall Run to reach it and then activate the portal.

You'll be facing off against a bunch of ninjas and Warlocks for this battle, so use lots of Izuna Drops for instant kills and lots and lots of Ultimates to thin the herd.

Be sure you're ready because once you jump down, you can't go back!

AREA: LOWER SUBWAY NORTH

  1. Snuff out all the ninjas near the subway car to clear them out.
  2. Use a Wall Run on the subway car to enter inside one of the cars.
  3. Emerge on the other side and some Van Gelfs will pop out for an ambush.
  4. Activate some Ninpo and Obliterate all the baddies.
  5. Use the leftover Essence for some Ultimates.
  6. Clear the area to trigger the boss battle.

BOSS BATTLE: THE GIGA DEATH

This giant giga-boss is as easy to predict than anything else. In case you didn't already notice, its entire body is encased in metal making it practically invulnerable EXCEPT for the boss's face.

Strategy:

  • Keep your distance.
  • Equip the Fiend's Bane Bow and manually aim for his face with a Level 2 charged shot. Each successful shot should take away about 10% of health.
  • Stay evasive and move away from the boss as he wiggles around the arena.
  • Reposition yourself and aim again with another Level 2 charged shot to the face.
  • When it starts flinging fireballs or his little Mini-Me thingies, use lots of evasive roll jumps to stay safe.
  • When the boss's health is reduced to 20%, rush over and finish him off with an Obliteration.

MISSION COMPLETE!

CHAPTER 4: A CAPTIVE GODDESS

AREA: LOWER SUBWAY WEST

OBJECTIVE: FIGHT YOUR WAY OUT OF THE SUBWAY

  1. Traverse the subway tracks to encounter some more ninjas and Warlocks. Eliminate them.
  2. Jump down to the lower tracks at the end.
  3. Fight off more ninjas and continue down the train tracks towards the station terminal to encounter some Van Gelf enemies. Eliminate them.

AREA: STATION TERMINAL

  1. Take the stairs to the top of the subway terminal to find the Save Statue and SAVE your game.
  2. Ninjas and Warlocks will appear. Eliminate them all.
  3. Grab the items from the chests behind the metal fences by going through the iron bar doors.
  4. Enter the terminal office for more goodies.
  5. Exit the terminal and grab arrows from the dead body.
  6. Fling a charged arrow at the explosive barrels above the stairs to open up the path.
