East Area

From the Keep's savepoint, enter the courtyard and go to the lower right door.

Examine the concrete pillar; use the Decorated Sword from your inventory to unlock the door.

Enter the revealed doorway.

Proceed down the path and defeat the two ambushing ninja demons, taking their souls.

Continue along the linear path to the bridge over the moat.

Cross the bridge, ignoring the first left path (door cannot be opened yet).

Continue to a door with two wind crystals; equip your wind gear and enter.

In the next area, go up and take a left to the wall.

Search the door to find Journal #6.

Enter the door and use magic to kill the large black demon knight, taking its soul.

Follow the bridge path to the last door and enter the small room.

Search the bookshelf for a Genbu and open the treasure chest for Bullets.

Return to the door with Journal #6 and exit the room.

Go back and proceed upwards.

Analyze the bridge at the top of the screen.

Equip your Matchlock and Burst bullets, then fire across at the other half of the bridge to make it fall and complete the crossing.

Cross the completed bridge and take the Bullets from the treasure chest.

Continue until you can no longer go up. Slash the wooden plank to remove it.

Search the area to find a Talisman.

Head back to the side with the skipped door.

Enter this room, go right and straight up to the second-floor balcony.

Defeat the two archer demons.

Return to the ground floor, open the treasure chest for bullets, and optionally defeat the large black demon knight.

Head back upstairs.

Ascend the winding plank staircases to the top.

Defeat the unavoidable black demon knight with magic.

Move to avoid archer arrows and kill the archer.

Open the chest near the archer to get the Magic Jewel and use it on your magic.

Climb the ladder to the roof.

Equip your Matchlock and eliminate the Three Eyes monsters on the roof.

Go around the roof to the other side and collect Flourite #13 from the corner.

Exit onto the roof through the gap in the fence and search the glowing spot near the carcass for a Power Jewel; use it immediately.

Circle around the roof to the other side and pick up a Soul Absorber from a glowing spot.

Return downstairs, defeat the large demon knight, and ensure no archers remain.

Equip your wind gear and open the door with wind crystals.

Enter the next area; a ninja will ambush you. Kill it and take its souls.

Turn back and unlock the same door from this side.

Proceed into the river to your left, where another ninja will ambush you. Kill it.

Enter the door into the next area.

Defeat the cloaked sword-wielding demon by blocking its attack and counterattacking. Take its soul.

Kill the next cloaked sword-wielding demon in the same fashion and take its soul.

Ignore the altar for now and take the door straight ahead.

Follow the linear path through the woods to the next door and enter the docks area.

Go straight up and kill the demon knight with magic.

Cross the bridge to lure the demon knight towards you.

Run back and hack at the rope holding the bridge on your side. A small cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) plays, and the demon falls into the river.

Circle back to the waterfall and push it to enter a secret cave with a treasure chest.

Solve the treasure chest puzzle by inputting: Bottom Left - Top Right - Bottom Right - Bottom Left - Bottom Right.

Open the chest to receive the Great Armor.

Return to the other side of where the bridge was connected.

Go through the door ahead into a room with a Magic Meter and a Magic Mirror.

Fill your magic, save, and enhance as needed.
