Learn how to use the Legacy System in Outward 2 to transfer items like Peacekeeper Elixir and Tsar armor to your next playthrough.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
After completing the main quest, you cannot start a New Game Plus. Instead, use the Legacy system.
  2. 2
There are 4 Legacy Chests, one in each location of the game. You must reach these chests again in your next New Game.
  3. 3
During character customization when creating a new game, select the Legacy option.
  4. 4
This allows you to select a previous character and shows which items are stored in your Legacy Chests.
  5. 5
Proceed with your new game as usual until you can access the Legacy Chests you previously set up.

What is worth transferring via Legacy:

  • Peacekeeper Elixir: The reward for completing each faction.
  • Faction armor: Unique armor that cannot be earned through other means.
  • Tsar armor/weapons: The hardest items to obtain in the game.
  • Some late-game weapons you plan to use.
  • Dream Halberd or Brand: Two unique weapons that require significant effort to obtain.
Tips
  • Legacy Chests are usually hard to reach and are best used for transferring endgame items.
  • You will likely have completed over half the game by the time you open your last Legacy Chest.
  • Only one item can be placed in each Legacy Chest.
