Character Selection

Choose your character in Peglin. Compare the unique starting relics and playstyles of each playable character to find the best fit for your peg-bouncing strate.

Peglin offers several playable characters, each with unique starting relics and playstyles. The basic Peglin character is available from the start. The Scientist (also referred to as Spinventor) character unlocks after getting a certain number of slimed pegs on the board.

• Basic Peglin: A balanced character, good for learning the ropes. Focuses on general damage and peg clearing.
• Scientist (Spinventor): Unlocked by sliming pegs. This character often has synergies with bomb-related relics and orbs, allowing for explosive plays. The Scientist can reach high damage outputs, especially with bomb-focused builds.

Experiment with different characters to find the one that best suits your preferred strategy. Each character also has unique difficulty options that can be unlocked, such as the level 2 difficulty option for the basic Peglin and the Scientist, where mini-bosses can appear in '?' spots.
