    At the start of Level Twelve, climb the ledges on the right to the second storey.

    Go right and climb the ledge on the right.

    Carefully get past the set of spikes.

    Run left until you see the end and jump to the other side, holding SHIFT.

Tips
  • A shortcut is available: Instead of running left past the spikes, continue climbing up the right flank. At the end, step left, turn around, and hop 3 times. The slab above should fall. Climb up and go right. This saves 4-5 seconds.
  • The Shadow fights like an ordinary guard but injures you one-for-one with life bullets. It has 4 life bullets. If it dies, you die. If you die, it dies.
  • Merging with the Shadow makes you one again and grants an extra life.
  • Do not attempt to run across the pit before you stop flashing after merging with the Shadow, or you will fall.
