Master Part 13 of the Little Samson walkthrough. Learn strategies for the Volcano level, including defeating the Purple Mage and Giant Dragon bosses.

Walkthrough

    Start by walking right onto red bones. Jump up and kill the spiked ball enemy.

    Continue to the end of the bones, kill the red frog and another spiked enemy in the air.

    Jump another gap, kill one more spiked enemy, and head under the wall on the right. Keep going until you reach the wall.

    Switch to Lickle. Climb the wall on the right to just below the top. Face left and shoot the flower on the other platform.

    Once the flower is dead, climb all the way up for a health increase.

    Switch to Dragon. Hover to the bone platform in the air on the left. Jump up a few to kill another flower. Keep going until you reach the top. Be fast, as Pink Slime will continuously come from the holes in the bones.

    At the top, jump to the main platform on the right and switch to Golem.

    Walk to the edge of the platform and use the bottom stair to position yourself just left of the fire. Wait for the fire frog to jump out and punch it.

    Switch to Dragon and jump to the platform the fire frog was on. Burn the flower on the next platform and jump to it, then to the platform after.

    Fire frogs will appear on both sides. Kill the one in front first, then jump over the second one's attacks. It will retreat into the fire. Kill the flower on the next platform and move on.

    Continue hovering from platform to platform four more times. On the next ledge, kill the flower, then kill the fire frog that emerges from the fire.

    Jump to the set of ledges on the right that form stairs. Climb them to the top and jump over the lava flow to the right side.

    Burn the flower on the next platform, then jump to where it was. Jump to the next platform where a large heart is located.

    Continue jumping and burning flowers until you reach the main ground again. Burn the final flower and head right to the boss.

Boss: Purple Mage

  1. The Purple Mage fires two energy balls that move up and down across the screen.
  2. It can teleport across the ground after attacking.

Strategy: Use Golem. Punch the boss as it comes into view from the transport, hitting it on the way
