Walkthrough
- 1In the yard, climb stairs to find the Feather. Collect it to trigger Harpies and Skeletons. Take a door in the corner.
- 2Return to the courtyard and take the previously locked door.
- 3Analyze the door in the center, then take the west path. Follow the narrow corridors to find a Gold Ankh.
- 4Return to the first room and enter the center door. Fall into the spiky pit once to find a secret area with armor and ammo. Fall in again to die.
- 5Cross the spiky pit and enter the next door. An obelisk rises; kill the enemies and go to the opposite side to get the ancient papyrus. Enter the ammunition depot.
- 6In the next room, you must collect four gold Ankhs and return them to pedestals in the center. They appear one at a time and can be hard to find. Enemies like Arachnoids, Skeletons, Reptilioids, Bulls, and Bio-Mechanoids spawn each time you place an Ankh. Use the Rocket Launcher and Minigun.
- 7Once all Ankhs are placed, the door opens. Go straight inside for the next level or take a left to the Sacred Yards secret level.
- 8Sacred Yards (Secret Level): Grab the Backpack and move forward. Deal with Bio-Mechanoids, frogs, and Skeletons. Then face Harpies, frogs, and invisible Gnaars.
- 9In the next room, fight Arachnoids, Bio-Mechanoids, and invisible Gnaars. Go through the water and a tube, then up a ramp.
- 10In the room with barred doors, press buttons on four statues to open the way.
- 11In the puzzle corridor, analyze the center object. Go through the left door for the first puzzle: press three buttons on the roof (you'll flip upside-down). Defeat the enemies that appear and grab the Gold Sphinx.
- 12Go to the other puzzle room. Press the button on the wall, then the button on the floor, and repeat this process. Swim to the northwest platform, grab the Gold Sphinx, and deal with two spawning Reptilioids on your way out.
- 13Return to the central room. The center object opens, and you drop in.
- 14The Great Pyramid: Proceed to the main corridor with two pyramids and three pedestals. Backpacks and health regenerate here.
- 15Survive four waves of enemies: Wave One (~130 Kleer Skeletons, use Rocket Launcher), Wave Two (~100 Bulls, use Cannon and run in circles), Wave Three (~70 Bio-Mechanoids, use Cannon and Lasergun), Wave Four (~30 final Skeletons).
- 16After the waves, go through the opened door. Enemies will appear on the path; use Cannon for Bulls, Minigun or Lasergun for others, Rocket Launcher for Bio-Mechanoids, and Lasergun for Skeletons.
- 17Reach the top of the pyramid to face Ugh-Zan III. Use the Cannon initially. If Cannonballs run out, switch to Lasergun, Minigun, or Rocket Launcher. Sidestep his blue lasers.
- 18Once Ugh-Zan III's health is in the red, turn around and enter the pyramid to finish the level.
Tips
- In The Great Pyramid, the regenerating Backpacks allow you to use your favorite weapons freely.
- For Ugh-Zan III, the Cannon is effective against his attacks. The Lasergun and Minigun can also dispatch his projectiles.
