After reading the message, we'll exit the flower shop via the way we came. Upon exiting, head left toward Lindsey St., as we'll see some weird substance on the road.
Get close and examine it. As we look at it, we'll take a right as shown above. Making our way on Lindsey St., we'll get halfway to Katz St. when we'll see more of that substance again on the road. We'll be able to take a look at it like before. Keep going until a brief cutscene triggers. As soon as we gain control again, we'll head until we see more of that substance to the left of the road near a sidewalk.
Follow it toward the space between the two buildings. On the other side, we should be in the backyard area of the building to the right. There should be a fence to the right with an opening near a tree trunk. Reaching the opening, look to the slight right. There should be another fence as there should be a gate. Should be easy to spot as it's the only portion that has that weird substance on it. Upon going through it, we'll get another glimpse of it before it takes off. We'll need to head to where it was. As we do, we'll go until we reach a gate fence with an opened doorway to go through. After we get to the next area, we should see a garage with a hole in the door.
Enter it by using X/A to crawl through the opening. Inside the garage area, there should be a small opening on the far end on the right. Walk over and interact to squeeze through. Inside we should see a red square like we did at the well, as we can save progress if needed. In the room we're currently in, head to the right toward the door. On the other side, we should reach a kitchen. Head to the counter near the window. Interact with the top drawer near the window to reveal a health drink.
As we take it, it can be used by pressing Triangle/Y if we're using the default controls. Keep in mind that it can be used even at full health, so be sure you don't accidentally take it when we don't need to. Upon getting the health drink, head out through the door to the left of the counter. In the hallway, take a left until we reach the last door on the right. Enter the room as we should hear a noise coming from inside it. To the left of the door should be a chair that has a radio, thus where the sound is coming from. Interact with it as the game will take over, and eventually, we'll have our first encounter with an enemy known as Lying Figure.
When in control again, we'll have a weapon of sorts to take it out with a Wooden Plank. We'll want to do what we can to dodge it's attacks, as it can spray a liquid at you. Timing will be needed to know when it'll do that and dodge by pressing Circle/B. When we dodge, we can attack by pressing R2/RT. Just dodge and attack when we won't get sprayed by it. As soon as it's down for the count, the radio we found will go silent. Once it's down, head through the way that it came. In the next room, there should be a door to the left with a clear near it. Go through the door and you should see a hole in the wall. It should be similar to that when we entered the garage. Go through the hole into the next room. On the desk to the right should be a box. Interact with it to open it to find a syringe. This will help you recover your health more compared to the health drink, but these will be scarce to find.
Go toward the nearby window and use the wooden plank to smash it. As we do that, go through the window back outside. The game will take over briefly, and when back in control, follow the path until we reach an opened gate in the fence. Use it to get out to the road. Head to the vehicle on the left that looks like a Jeep Cherokee.
We should see something in the back of it. Use the Wooden Plank to smash the back window and grab the health drink inside. When we grab that, we'll want to head toward where Martin St. and Katz St. intersect. Now, head in the direction we started down the road until we reach a dead body.
Looking at the areas marked for a couple of items of interest near the body. In doing so, we'll find a matchbook from Neely's Bar. Upon looking at the matchbook, Neely's Bar will be marked on the map as a place of interest. As for the other marked spot, there should be a memo.

We'll need to head to Neely's Bar. To get there, we'll have to head toward the intersection of Martin St. and Katz St. On the way there, we should see a metal fence that'll have a red square to save progress, but watch out for an enemy that'll be leaving the fenced area when we get close to it. Passing the fence if we don't need to save at this point, and reaching the intersection of Martin St. and Katz St., we'll need to take a right. When reaching the intersection of Katz St. and Neely St., take a left. Stay to the left side until we reach where Katz St. and Sanders St. meet. Neely's Bar will be on the corner, and enter through the main entrance. Entering the bar, we should have a memo on the counter.
