Community CPR Training

Activating this ordinance releases medical vans to educate Sims in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This improves your city's overall health rate, but the cost, which is based on population, can become expensive. You might also receive some complaints.

Free Clinics

Upon activation, your city will establish low-cost, high-efficiency clinics. Because the city pays the doctors, they can treat Sims for free. While everyone can receive treatment, these clinics primarily serve lower-income Sims who might not afford regular medical care, resulting in a higher overall health rating. However, as your city grows, the demand on Free Clinics will increase greatly.

Junior Sports

This ordinance organizes after-school sports teams for the youth. Most equipment is donated by companies, but you still have a small annual fee. Junior Sports is strongly suggested if your city has a lot of crime.

Nuclear Free Zone

This ordinance prevents you from building any Nuclear Power Plants. It is politically funded, so you won't spend any money, and it is said to raise your city's aura.

Pro-Reading

The Pro-Reading ordinance encourages reading and writing through free tutors, special programs, and other learning resources. All Sims can benefit, but it mainly focuses on children interested in extracurricular learning. Pro-Reading has a fee based on your city's population.

Public Smoking Ban

This ordinance outlaws smoking around all public buildings. The game states you must pay money each year to provide local merchants with plastic water buckets to extinguish any fires started by rule-breakers. This ordinance is expensive, and some Sims will complain, but it has a major positive impact on your city's health rates.
