To determine where to place police stations and fire departments in SimCity 3000, consult the 'View Data' tab. This tab provides a map showing the amount of crime or flammability in your current city. Light blue circles on this map indicate the coverage area provided by each station. While it's important to ensure every part of your city has adequate coverage, be mindful of your budget and avoid unnecessary expenses by not building stations in areas already covered by another.
