Learn how to outsmart Shibito turns and navigate tricky situations with Melissa in Siren: Blood Curse. Get the upper hand and survive!

Alright, so you're in the office and things are about to get dicey with those Shibito. Pay attention here, because how you handle the doors makes a big difference. If you don't brace the office doors for as long as you possibly can, the Shibito won't go after Melissa. Instead, they'll make a beeline for Sam! That's not what we want. Generally, if Melissa braces the second door, the Shibito will head for Sam, so make sure she's the one doing the bracing.

Sub Goal: Evade the attacking Shibito. (COMPLETE!)

Melissa is going to head for the back door of the office and open it, then she'll ask Sam to follow. You can totally take a peek into the basement below the office while she's doing that, but honestly, there's nothing down there. Just don't take too long poking around, or that female Shibito will get back up and come for you.

Now, find the phone in the office. When you're right next to it, press the [X] button to use it. You'll see two numbers: '364' in the middle and '508' circled on the bottom right. Dialing '364' just gives you a busy signal – it's the number for that specific phone. But dialing '508'? That's the magic number. You'll hear a Shibito moaning on the other end. This is important: dialing '508' makes the Shibito up in the mine above unlock a door containing a secret item as he walks over to answer the phone. So, definitely do this!

Once Sam starts moving towards Melissa, she'll lead the way down the path behind the office. Follow her up the stairs and then into the tunnel to the right at the end of the path. A little cutscene will play inside the tunnel.

West Shaft Upper Level

Sub Goal: Find a gun.

Okay, listen up. You absolutely do NOT want to keep going down that tunnel. Turn around. Melissa will mention there are too many Shibito and you'll need to find another way. She'll then run across the bridge. Follow her. Your main goal here is to find some kind of gun to deal with the Shibito waiting at the end of the current path.

East Shaft Upper Level

Head into the tunnel on the other side of the bridge. Melissa will get spooked because there's a Shibito just around the corner. Luckily for both of you, this Shibito has its back turned and is conveniently facing an open elevator shaft. You need to crouch down and sneak up behind this unaware Shibito. Once you're close enough, attack it from behind and shove it towards the elevator shaft to take it out.

  • Special Finish Requirement: Sneak up behind the Shibito facing the elevator shaft and attack it from behind. Sam needs to have the metal pipe equipped for the scene to trigger correctly, though you can push the staggered Shibito to the edge and knock it off with any other weapon.
  • Description: Sam slams his weapon into the back of the Shibito, then casually...
