Navigate Smuggler's Run missions starting in Forest. Learn about vehicle selection and the mission menu.
- 1From the main menu, select Smuggler's Mission.
- 2You will be greeted by the Mission Menu where you select your jobs.
- 3After selecting a mission, choose your vehicle.
- 4You will then be asked what transmission to use.
- 5The mission will start. The game progresses from the Forest environment to the Desert, and finally to Snow.
- 6Map orientation is based on the large map: north is up, west is left, south is down, and east is right.
Forest Missions:
- New Vehicles Available: Buggy, SUV
- All vehicles are stamped with your company logo.
MISSION 1 - Initiation Rites
Complete the Initiation Rites mission in Smuggler's Run by driving to checkpoints and following flares. Learn the easiest way to succeed.
- 1Drive north to the first checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death).
- 2Drive to the second checkpoint.
- 3Follow the circle of flares around Eastwood to the finish.
- This is a very simple mission.
- Warning: Give up now if you botch this mission.
MISSION 2 - The Forgotten Few
Complete Smuggler's Run Mission 2, The Forgotten Few. Follow the guide to pick up and deliver contraband in Eastwood and beyond.
- 1Drive north from your starting point to pick up the contraband in Eastwood.
- 2Head northeast to the drop-off point located in the field outside of town.
- 3Drive west to pick up the next piece of contraband near the gas station in Eastwood.
- 4Continue west through town and get onto the road heading the same direction. This road will take you to the final drop-off point and complete the mission.
- Pay attention to your minimap (a small map displayed on your HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)) to navigate efficiently.
- The mission involves driving, so familiarize yourself with the roads around Eastwood.
MISSION 3 - Secrets and Lies
Complete the Secrets and Lies mission in Smuggler's Run, facing the Border Patrol for the first time. Avoid roadblocks and ramming attacks.
- 1From the church parking lot, head east to the first pickup point.
- 2The first Border Patrol (cop) is hiding behind a ridge to your left but is likely facing away from you.
- 3Continue east until you fly over a large jump.
- 4After landing, get onto the highway, which leads to the next drop-off point.
- 5Continue down the highway to the next pickup point.
- 6Here, you will be spotted by a cop. Speed past them and collect the next piece of contraband.
- 7Turn the corner to see a roadblock. A gap in the middle of the road allows you to pass through.
- 8After the roadblock, another cop will attempt a head-on ramming attack. Turn left on the road to evade them.
- 9Continue following the highway to the bridge. The finish line is at the end of the bridge.
- The first cop is likely not facing you, making initial evasion easier.
- The roadblock has a gap in the middle, which is the intended path.
- Be prepared for a head-on ramming attack after the roadblock.
