Venom

Learn how to defeat Venom in Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. This guide details Venom's new heads, summoned symbiotes, and the strategy to web-strike his weak points.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Venom's extra heads are his primary weakness.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Head Attacks
   Venom's extra heads will attempt to bite and slam you. Watch for when a head lunges forward to attack. Web Strike onto the attacking head to damage it. Repeat this three times for each head. Stay on the move to avoid Venom's other attacks and the lesser symbiotes he vomits up.
2. Phase 2: Symbiote Swarm
   After damaging the heads halfway, Venom will summon a large number of speedy symbiotes and Berserkers. Continue to stay on the move to avoid their attacks and only attack Venom when he is vulnerable.
3. Phase 3: Final Confrontation
   Once the last extra head is destroyed, a Helicarrier volley will damage Venom, initiating a final button-pressing sequence. Engage in both verbal and physical sparring with Venom.

Strategy:

• Constantly stay on the move to evade Venom's attacks and the lesser symbiotes he summons.
• Only advance to attack when one of Venom's heads lunges forward.
• Web Strike onto the attacking head to damage it.
• Repeat the Web Strike process three times for each of Venom's extra heads.
• During the symbiote swarm phase, prioritize evasion and only attack Venom when an opportunity arises.
• Be prepared for a final button-pressing sequence and dialogue choices.

Ending Choices:

• After defeating Venom, you will be presented with a final morality choice: spare Brock or toss him into the turbine.
• This choice, along with previous decisions (activating the bomb and picking a companion), determines which of the four endings you receive.
• You can continue playing after the credits with your upgrades to find other endings and collectibles.
