Server Voting: Type a map name to cast a vote for it.

Glow Command: On some servers, typing 'glow' followed by a color (e.g., red, blue, green) makes your character glow that color. This can be used for cosmetic effects or to attempt camouflage.

Leagues and Clans: Clans are essentially teams, identified by a 'tag' before a player's name (e.g., [UoM]Kyosuke). Leagues are organized groups of clans that play mediated matches. Joining a clan often involves a tryout and requires a high level of skill.

Importing Sprays: Sprays are custom images you can apply to walls using the 'T' key (default). You can import your own images by searching online for 'Custom Sprays'. Avoid using 'porn sprays' as they can lead to kicks or bans.

The Avanti Bell: In the map Avanti, shoot the small dark window above the church windows before CP3 to ring the church bell.

Console Commands: Access the console by pressing '~' (default). Useful commands include:

• connect [IP Address]: Connects to a Team Fortress server using its IP address.

status: Displays server information, including the server's IP address (use PgUp to find it).

ping: Shows the ping (connection speed) of the server and players.

texgamma [value]: Sets your texture gamma (default is 3).

lightgamma [value]: Sets the game's brightness gamma (default is 3).

+det20 / +det50: Sets a Demoman's detpack for 20 or 50 seconds.

kill: Commits suicide, useful for getting unstuck.

Unpoisoning Yourself: If poisoned and no medic is available, switch to the opposing team without selecting a class, then switch back to your original team and select a class. Upon respawning, the poison will be gone. This is considered cheating by some players.

Killing Spies: If a Spy feigns death, stand on top of them to prevent them from getting up, allowing you to kill them easily.
