Retrieve Code Book: Save your game immediately upon starting. Open your command map (HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)) to view objectives. You are inserted northwest of the map. The SAM is to the east on a hill. The code book is south of your starting position, near a downed aircraft. The air crew is east of the code book. The extraction zone is southeast. Set a waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination) for Bravo directly south to the code book and follow them. Head south, and upon reaching an opening, look east into the trees to find and eliminate three enemies. Continue through the cave with Bravo. Once outside the cave, command Bravo to Hold. Hug the western wall and continue south. Near the aircraft wreckage, eliminate three enemies positioned in front of it. Enter the aircraft and retrieve the purple code book. You will hear a comment about survivors heading east. Save your game upon objective completion.

Rescue Air Crew: Command Bravo to proceed to their destination and join them outside the aircraft. Open your command map and set a direct path for the air crew, which will go south around a rock. Follow Bravo. At the southern end of the large rock you are navigating around, eliminate two enemies. Command Bravo to continue to their destination, while Alpha goes around the rock. Eliminate an enemy shooting northwest. Rejoin Bravo. Bravo will have a clear path to the air crew. Switch to a Bravo team member and interact with both survivors to secure them. Switch back to Alpha, command Bravo to Hold and Suppress, and proceed southeast with Alpha. Rounding the rock to the southeast, look east to eliminate two enemies, one behind a rock and one to its left. Look left of these enemies, near a tree, to eliminate another enemy. Proceed to the area where you eliminated the first two enemies. Look north of the last enemy killed to find and eliminate three enemies running towards you. Proceed east to the extraction zone. Set a waypoint for Bravo; the air crew will follow. The objective completes upon their arrival. Save your game.

Neutralize SAM: Command Bravo to stay behind as they are not needed for this objective. Head north, staying along the eastern wall with Alpha. Around a corner jutting from the wall, you will see three enemies in a wooded area to the north; eliminate them. Continue north along the eastern wall. At the next corner, go around it and proceed up the large hill, stopping before the next corner. Switch to your demo expert. Go around the hill, ignoring the red indicator, and continue hugging the wall. As the terrain begins to descend slightly, look north to find a tent. Eliminate the three enemies around the tent as you slowly ascend the hill. Once the SAM is visible, destroy it with a rocket. Switch back to Will Jacobs or Henry Ramirez.

Reach Extraction Zone: This objective is optional. You can either clear the entire map of enemies or proceed directly to the extraction zone. To clear enemies, return to the camp. Eliminate the five enemies around the SAM, including two approaching from the west. Look west at a visible path on a hill directly west of the SAM. Eliminate the enemy on this path. Look north of the path, around a rock, to eliminate three enemies approaching you. Look south, near the last corner you passed, to eliminate two enemies. Save your game. Head north and then west along the large path. Where the path ends and opens up, eliminate two enemies before they can take cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) on the hill. Proceed west to the area where you just killed the two enemies. Look southwest to eliminate two more walking enemies before they take cover. Look south to eliminate three enemies positioned by two rocks. Look southeast to see a guard tower. Shoot a single bullet towards the tower to draw out the two enemies inside and eliminate them. Proceed down towards the extraction zone.
