Begin in the Mediterranean Sea, exploring ruins where Lara finds Thor's Gauntlets but is ambushed by mercenaries working for Amanda Evert.

Pursue Amanda to her ship and learn from Jacqueline Natla that the key to finding Thor's artifacts lies off the coast of Thailand.

Travel to Thailand and discover another Norse Underworld. The Gauntlet is missing, but a message from Lara's father, Richard James Croft, points to its location.

Return to England and find the Gauntlet buried beneath Croft Manor in a hidden crypt. Defeat two animated tiger skeletons (thralls).

After an explosion at the manor, encounter Lara's Doppelgänger, who kills Alister Fletcher. Lara escapes with Zip and Winston.

Lara sets out to find Thor's Belt in Southern Mexico, battling more thralls.

Proceed to Jan Mayen Island to find Mjolnir (Thor's hammer). Confront Natla, who reveals Helheim is under the Arctic Sea.

Enter Helheim and find Lara's mother, Amelia Croft, as a thrall. After a confrontation, Natla reveals she killed Richard Croft.

Lara attempts to use Mjolnir against Natla, but her Doppelgänger intervenes. Amanda helps Lara, urging her to pursue Natla.

Find Natla and learn that the Midgard Serpent is a metaphor for tectonic ridges, and her machine will cause global volcanic eruptions and floods.

Disable the device. Lara defeats Natla by throwing Mjolnir at her, causing her to fall into eitr.

Escape Helheim with Amanda via a dais, returning to the location of Amelia Croft's activation in Nepal. After a brief conflict, Lara says goodbye to her mother.
