Your guide to Yggdrasil in Tomb Raider: Underworld. Find the last treasure and relic, and prepare to face Natla once more.
Alright, we're heading into Yggdrasil now, which is basically the final stretch of the game. It's time to wrap things up!
Treasure 30: You're looking for the very last treasure of the game. It's tucked away in the corner, just to the left of the doorway you enter through.
Relic: This one's hiding behind one of the waterfalls pumping out Eitr. You can't just walk through it, so we need to shut it off. There are four glyphs scattered around the room to do this. Here's where to find them:
- First, face the entrance to Yggdrasil. The first glyph is to your left, around the side of the entrance.
- The second glyph is on the platform you used to grab Treasure 29.
- You'll find the third glyph next to where you got Treasure 26.
- The fourth and final glyph is on the side of the entrance into this area.
Once you've touched all four, you should hear a rumble. If you don't, double-check you haven't missed one. Now, head back to the platform in the middle of the room. Turn right, and you'll see the waterfall has stopped. Grapple the hook and swing across to the alcove at the top of the wall to grab the last relic. Getting back might be a bit tricky; swinging often sends you flying past the platform. Try jumping off a bit early to land on it. Warning: If you miss the platform, Lara will die, but don't worry too much. The game will respawn you at the entrance to Yggdrasil and it'll remember you've got the relic. Honestly, sometimes it's easier to just let Lara fall and respawn than to try and nail that tricky swing back!
After that, enter Yggdrasil itself and follow the tunnel. You'll run into a bunch of Thralls – take them out. Keep pushing forward until a cutscene plays. And guess what? It's time to fight Natla again. Yep, *again*.
Keep moving along the path, dealing with more Thralls as you go. Eventually, you'll reach a large open area. You know what that means… boss fight incoming!
