Explore Unicorn Overlord's Mounted Classes: Doom Knight, Great Knight, Gryphon Master, and Sainted Knight. Learn their skills, strengths, and weaknesses to dominate the battlefield.
Your fast and quick cavalry and aerial units are here. These classes make excellent leaders due to the increased mobility they provide units as well as high physical attack that they have across the board. Be somewhat mindful of your enemy unit composition as fliers take massive damage from bows, and cavalry crumbles under the attacks of spears.
Doom Knight
Characters: Gloucester
Valor Skill: Attack Call - Deploy a sigil that increases damage dealt by allies by 20%
Opinion: The Doom Knight is aptly named. If you’re familiar with the Dark Knight class from Final Fantasy, this class works in a similar manner, consume health to deal big damage and then regain the lost health by dealing damage. The Doom Knight is surprisingly durable thanks to the Vengeance skill. Dark Flame is Doom Knight’s best offensive skill by far and can even put a good dent in armored foes thanks to the Burn effect.

Great Knight
Characters: Clive, Adel, Renault, Jerome
Valor Skill: Wild Rush - Damage all enemy units within the designated range
Opinion: A truly devastating class that really comes alive at level 15. Before unlocking Cavalier Call, Great Knights are a tough damage class that excels at picking off weakened enemies. Cavalier Call shoots this unit’s damage into the stratosphere. Since the effect stacks, you can have 3 Great Knights in a row and just destroy enemy formations with a +60% Attack boost. Adding to the ridiculousness, the boost from Cavalier Call is just “Attack” not “Physical” or “Magical” meaning you can even use magical weapons for these units and it will still get the buff.

| Knight’s Pursuit | Level 25 | 50 Phys | 1 Hit | 100% | 1 PP | Column | Follow up attack after a cavalier ally attacks |
Gryphon Master
Characters: Fran, Celeste
Valor Skill: Hastened Call - Increase mobility of allied units within range by 100%
Opinion: Gryphon Masters are a great dodge tanks and anti-cavalry class. They have naturally high evade and their Gryphon Glide ability even allows them to dodge the odd bow shot. I would still recommend some additional support on the front line (like a Vanguard or Elven Fencer) but they are a very solid class. Also, since they are fliers they make for great unit leaders, giving additional movement at the cost of stamina.
| Name | Level | Power | Hits | Acc. | Cost | Targeting | Extra Effects |
| High Swing | Level 1 | 100 Phys | 1 Hit | 100% | 1 AP | Row | Cavalry targets cannot guard against this attack, +50 potency vs. Cavalry |

| Aerial Smite | Level 30 | 150 Phys | 1 Hit | 100% | 2 AP | Row | Cavalry targets cannot guard against this attack, grants user -1 AP if a target is at 100% HP |
| Wing Rest | Level 1 | - | 1 Hit | - | 1 PP | Self | Recover 25% HP at the end of combat, double recovery if afflicted |
| Feathering | Level 15 | - | - | - | 1 PP | Row | Grant allies in your row +15 Initiative when attacking |
| Gryphon Glide | Level 25 | - | - | - | 2 PP | Self | Evade 1 ranged attack, grants self +1 AP |
Sainted Knight
Characters: Miriam, Monica
Valor Skill: Guard Call - Deploy a sigil that reduces damage taken by 20% for allied units
Opinion: Welcome to your first magic tank. Sainted Knights are a great support unit when you know you are about to fight mages. Their Barrier skills completely prevent a spell from affecting it’s target (even multi-hit spells), and Row Heal allows them to restore ally health. This class makes a fantastic companion to a Legionnaire, forming a very strong defensive core that is tough to crack. Sainted Knights also make great unit leaders with Cavalry movement and a leader skill that reduces the effectiveness of Magic Assists. All in all a great supporting class whose only real shortcoming is a lack of damage.
