Complete walkthrough for Part 19 of Age of Empires III, including objectives, strategies, and tips for defending Fort Oloma and securing victory.
Walkthrough
- 1Build a trading post at the site to the south.
- 2Send your Heroes due south of your town center to the bottom of the map to find the Boots of El Pollo Guapo (boosts Hero speed by 25%).
- 3North and then west of your town is a free outpost wagon, guarded by enemies.
- 4When building your base, keep all buildings to the north, north-west, behind the ones you start with. Enemies attack from the south-east.
- 5Build three or four outpost towers south-west of your base for defense.
- 6Ensure peasants are being produced from houses, not the town center, for cost efficiency.
- 7Advance quickly and chop lumber in the south, near where you found the Boots.
- 8Position four or five falconets (upgrade to field guns later) behind your towers. Support them with musketeers, railwaymen, and priests.
- 9When heading into the Industrial Age, choose the Factory Wagon to build your first factory. A fort is also good for defense.
- 10Upgrade trading wagons to trains at the trading posts. Keep your falconets and other units healthy.
- 11Advancing past the Industrial Age is unnecessary and gives Americans time to build Congreve rockets.
- 12You can ally with Natives. One site is west of your base, another north-west of the southernmost trading post.
- 13Once your base is established and resources are flowing, build two or three mortars or rockets and send them south to the first American trading post.
- 14Send dragoons along with your mortars to deal with any guards, then destroy the tower and buildings.
- 15Build your own trading post in the ruins.
- 16West of this location is the fourth site, which should be lightly guarded or unguarded.
- 17Build a fourth blue trading post to win the level.
- 18To gain experience points, wipe out the red base from the south; it is standard and lacks towers.
