Complete Age of Empires III Part 21 walkthrough covering the Seminole Map and destroying Beaumont's Town Center. Learn objectives and tips.
Walkthrough
- 1After the last cache, the explosion destroys nearby trees, allowing your last wagon to pass quicker. Collect any remaining treasure upgrades.
- 2Head north, back inside the mines. Free the musketeers and send the wagon to one of the camps.
- 3Save before heading north to the biggest fight yet.
- 4Of the two treasures, the western one reveals a new objective: FIND AND COLLECT THE SEMINOLE MAP.
- 5Collect the Seminole map to win this section.
Tips
- Your army should be large enough to handle the Boneguards in the mines.
- The final objective is to FIND AND COLLECT THE SEMINOLE MAP.
Walkthrough
- 1Get the big gun as soon as you start. Build Falconets and towers for defense, and a factory with upgraded peasants for resources.
- 2Build a base. You will receive a new objective: BUILD TRADING POSTS AT THE NATIVE VILLAGES (500 XP).
- 3Send Amelia east to build a trading post at the nearest site. Once it's up, you get a new objective: BRING KANYENKE TO THE REVEALED FOREST ALONG THE SOUTHEAST EDGE OF THE SWAMP (300 XP).
- 4Send your troops east along the cliff north of the nearest treasure ship (where pirates guard a treasure item), then farther east along this cliff to reach the second trading post, avoiding the first red outpost.
- 5Build a second trading post with Amelia.
- 6Take everyone south along the cliffs beside the swamp. North of the third trading post, you will find a huge gun on the cliff that comes under your control.
- 7Knock down any trading post the reds may have built and build your own in its place.
- 8Send everyone back along the route to the third trading post, as your base will be attacked from the southwest.
- 9Have ten peasants on farming, ten on lumber, and a few working on the first shipwreck beside the first trading post. Clear any pikemen guarding it and start mining gold.
- 10Build subsequent buildings northeast of your town center, tucked into the back of the map.
- 11Send troops southwest to sit on the cliffs directly north of the red base to intercept their fort construction.
- 12Back at your base, advance to the Industrial Age and choose the Factory card to build a factory. A few falconets and musketeers behind two or three towers are sufficient defense, especially with the big gun active.
- 13Once the factory is up, upgrade miners to chop lumber or other tasks. Upgrade the factory and market first, then proceed with other upgrades.
- 14Build one or two more towers on the southwest face of your base for defense.
- 15Construct a mini-army: a few siege weapons (two rockets from the Home City), about twenty military units (musketeers and dragoons recommended), some falconets (four recommended), and a squadron of sharktooths in the south to protect the cannon.
- 16Use this army to destroy the red outpost in the northeast of the swamp. The big gun will have destroyed the one in the southeast.
- 17Take out the outpost beside the red base. Destroy its tower with rockets or mortars while other units protect them.
- 18A new objective appears: DESTROY BEAUMONT'S TOWN CENTER.
- 19Send rockets or mortar shells over the walls to destroy the town center quickly. Beaumont will send more units as it takes damage.
- 20Destroy the medium base behind the walls and kill all units for experience. Be aware of a bug where the level may not end if other buildings are destroyed before the main town center.
Tips
- The big gun is very tough and can be easily reinforced or defended by upgrading sharktooths from the trading post.
- The big gun will target the red fort and other buildings within its range.
- You can send help to the big gun if it comes under attack.
- Build and upgrade excellent sharktooths from the trading post.
- The big gun will start hitting the red fort and other buildings within its range.
- The big gun is doing a great job of eradicating most of Beaumont's armies in the south.
- A few falconets and musketeers behind two or three towers will suffice for defense.
- If you can get rid of the base and leave the main town center for last, it might prevent a bug that stops the level from ending.
- When the town center is heavily damaged, Beaumont will send more units.
