Initially, each Legion has one Ability Slot, but Legion Learning allows for up to five. Abilities are categorized by their slot cost: one, two, or three slots, with three-slot abilities being the most potent. Abilities of the same type can be stacked for amplified effects. Some Abilities may also come with one or two sub-abilities, which are weaker versions of normal Abilities, offering additional bonuses. One unique sub-ability, Effect Spread, allows an Ability's effect to function even when the Legion is not summoned.

Recommended Abilities:

  • Attack Up: Increases player and Legion attack power by 5% (Lv. 1), 15% (Lv. 2), or 25% (Lv. 3).
  • Slow Attack: Provides a chance for any attack to slow down enemies, with effects ranging from 2% (Lv. 1) to 10% (Lv. 3).
  • Super Armor Alpha/Omega: Super Armor Alpha (Level 2) stops light damage from stunning both the player and the Legion. Super Armor Omega (Level 3) stops heavy damage from stunning both the player and the Legion. These are particularly useful as sub-abilities.
  • Critical Damage: Increases the damage caused by critical hits, offering 40% (Lv. 1), 100% (Lv. 2), or 200% (Lv. 3) bonus damage. This is often more valuable than Critical Rate because rear attacks are always critical.

  • E-Convert Range: Lv. 1 (100%), Lv. 2 (300%), Lv. 3 (600%) - Boosts the range of energy gain via Red Matter or attacking.
  • Call Lock: Lv. 1 (0.5s), Lv. 2 (1.5s), Lv. 3 (3.0s) - Legion doesn't lose energy for this amount of time after being summoned.

  • Perfect Call E-Heal: Lv. 1 (25%), Lv. 2 (60%), Lv. 3 (100%) - Restores a Legion's energy by a percent after a Perfect Call.
  • Fortitude: Player survives fatal damage once.
  • Auto-Medic: Medicine is automatically used if the player's health falls below 30%.
  • Auto-Heal: Lv. determines speed (A few seconds after damage is taken, the player begins healing).

  • Auto-Sync Attack: Activates Sync Attacks automatically.
  • Legion Rush: With the Legion deployed, hold ZL and flick the Right Stick forward to send the Legion out for slightly increased damage than a normal sending.
  • Parry Attack: Flick the Left Stick to do a parry motion that can repel enemy attacks.
  • Auto-Call: Automatically summons assigned Legion if limiter gauge is full.

  • Super Armor Alpha (Level 2): Stops light damage from stunning both the player and the Legion.
  • Super Armor Omega (Level 3): Stops heavy damage from stunning both the player and the Legion.
  • Anti-Trip: Prevents tripping when colliding into something.
  • Anti-Decibel: Prevents stun when Beast Chimera howl.
  • Anti-Slime: Prevents slow movement in goo.
  • Anti-Paralyze: Prevents shock paralysis by electricity using enemies.
  • Anti-Freeze: Prevents freezing by ice using enemies.
  • Anti-Flame: Prevents any damage or stun caused by burning.

  • Chain Boost: Lv. 1 (1.2m), Lv. 2 (3.0m), Lv. 3 (5.0m) - Extends the reach of the Astral Chain.
